About Bear

Bear has his mother's papillon coat color and his father's curls. This guy looks like a goofy teddy bear, and he has the kind of puppy energy that never ends. He just loves to play and is very adventurous, he's also really focused for his age and very easy to train. His aunt and grandmother both trained in agility, and I think Bear would really enjoy a family that was interested in giving him training in addition to just enjoying that he's an awesome guy to hang out with. He has the drive and intelligence to be very successful in training. Bear's the largest pup in his litter, and I think he will mature 6-8 lbs (his parents are 5 and 5.5 lbs). He is always ready to run zoomies through the living room or follow you on an adventure, and he really loves to have playtime with other dogs. He's a snuggler once you wear him out, but you do have to wear him out first. He is very adventurous and is usually the first one to dive headfirst into exploring a new place. Bear is a "no fear, let's go!" kind of pup. We’ve also worked on being comfortable with “downtime” and he settles into his crate well during meal and break times. He really likes to be in the center of everything, and he will bring his goofy play energy to whatever you are trying to get done. His mother is a stunning tri colored papillon who has never met a person she didn’t want to be friends with. Her father is a handsome phantom-colored toy poodle with two copies of the curly-coat gene, so all of his puppies inherit one. Bear loves to chase a ball or drag a stuffed toy that's bigger than he is around the house, and because he’s so social, he would do great with other pets or children as long as they are supervised, because he's not as big as he thinks he is. Bear is ready to be your co-adventurer anytime after 12 weeks of age. He comes with a one-year genetic health guarantee. He’s been wormed, had his first shots, has started on flea/tick preventative, and comes with a bag of food, treats & toys to help him get settled in his new home. Papillons have been my hobby and joy for 20 years. My dogs are pets first & foremost and enjoy being spoiled rotten. I stay in touch with puppy parents, and I am available to answer any questions throughout your dog's life.
