Bella — Golden Retriever Seeking a Permanent Companion Home Bella is a loving, laid-back, 3-year-old Golden Retriever looking for a permanent home where she can be a cherished member of the family. She enjoys staying close to her person and has a happy, affectionate personality. Bella has earned her AKC Farm Dog Certified and AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy titles. She is currently attending obedience classes and working toward her Canine Good Citizen title. She visits a groomer regularly, is up to date on vaccinations, and had her most recent routine veterinary visit on October 5. Bella has had one litter. Following difficulties with maternal care, I have decided to retire her from breeding and find her a companion home. She is CHIC certified, with clear/normal results on her completed OFA health screenings. Her genetic testing identified carrier status for Ichthyosis, ICH1. Her testing records will be available for prospective families to review. Bella also has a history of recurring mouth irritation and sores associated with burrs becoming lodged in her mouth. She previously had part of her lip surgically removed following swelling and infection. When flare-ups occur, she receives veterinary laser therapy, which has helped resolve them. Her new family will need to monitor her mouth and arrange veterinary care if irritation returns. She also tends to drool heavily when stressed. I am happy to discuss her care history in detail and share her veterinary records. Bella is being placed as a family companion only, with no breeding rights and a spay requirement. I am looking for a caring home that appreciates her gentle personality and is comfortable with her ongoing mouth monitoring and any care she may need. Please tell me a little about your household, other pets, and what you are looking for in a companion. Located in Sebeka, Minnesota.
