Chalupa – 4-Year-Old Neutered English Bulldog Looking for His Perfect Home This is one of the hardest posts I’ve ever had to write. After a tremendous amount of soul-searching, I’ve made the heartbreaking decision to look for the right home for my beloved 4-year-old neutered English Bulldog, Chalupa. Chalupa is an incredible dog with people. He absolutely loves human attention, has never met a stranger, and is happiest when he’s with his person. He is completely house trained, knows basic commands (about as well as any bulldog does!), walks nicely on a leash, and has all the goofy, stubborn, affectionate personality that makes English Bulldogs so special. Unfortunately, Chalupa needs to be the only animal in the home. He is not safe around small animals, and despite every effort to manage things, he and my female English Bulldog have become increasingly aggressive toward one another. The fights have escalated to the point of causing injuries, and our home has become a constant rotation of gates, closed doors, and taking turns letting dogs outside. It’s stressful for everyone—especially him. He deserves more than a life separated from the rest of the family, always waiting for his turn. As much as it breaks my heart, I know he would be happiest in a home where he doesn’t have to compete with other animals and can have his family’s love and attention all to himself. His ideal home would be: An adult home or one with respectful children who understand dogs. No other dogs, cats, or small animals. Someone familiar with the English Bulldog breed who appreciates their unique personalities. A family looking for a loyal companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. This is not a first-come, first-served situation. Finding the right home is far more important than finding a quick home. I will be asking questions and taking my time because Chalupa deserves the very best. Vet references required as he gets cytopoint injection ls for his allergies. If you think you might be the right fit, or know someone who is, please send me a message. His price is negotiable for his perfect 5 ⭐️ home Please be kind. This decision has been made out of love, not convenience. My only goal is to give Chalupa the peaceful, happy life he deserves.

Frequently Asked Questions
About English Bulldog Puppies

What's the personality of a English Bulldog?
The English Bulldog is a famously calm and friendly family pet. Their wrinkly folds make them appear vicious, but they're actually more likely to take a nap than they are to ward off an attacker. They are calm, dignified, and adapt well to small living spaces, as they quite like the indoors, thank you very much. Full-grown, they typically weigh 40-50 pounds and stand 14-15 inches tall.
Are English Bulldogs friendly with strangers and kids?
English Bulldogs are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The English Bulldog can make their home in any environment, from apartments to big houses, as long as they can live inside. The Bulldog will seek out human attention, getting as much as they possibly can. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
How active are English Bulldogs on a daily basis?
The English Bulldog might have a strong guarding instinct, but this isn't an energetic dog. They prefer the indoors and are generally pretty inactive. They are good for apartment life and will do okay without a yard. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What should I expect with English Bulldog shedding?
The English Bulldog has a short, flat, and sleek coat, and they generally have thick folds of skin on their brow and around their eyes leading to long jowls. They come in a range of colors from red, fawn, white, brindle, and 'piebald,' a common spotting pattern. They need to be bathed occasionally, but their faces need a damp cloth wipe down everyday to care for inside those wrinkles. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What living situation works for a English Bulldog?
English Bulldogs are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. The English Bulldog can make their home in any environment, from apartments to big houses, as long as they can live inside. A Bulldog can occasionally be a bit dominating, needing a good leader who can display strong leadership, so they don't take over the household. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
