Meet Colt, our beautiful cream boy who can best be described as one great big baby. 😂❤️
Colt has the size and confidence that can make him look like he has everything figured out. But underneath that confident exterior is an incredibly sweet, playful, tenderhearted boy who wants your love and attention.

Colt initially took his time approaching the tester, and then...BAM! Suddenly he was pawing at her and ready for interaction. Once he decides you're okay, he's comfortable asking for attention.
Confidence: Medium–High
Colt has a healthy amount of natural confidence. He'll explore and investigate, but that confidence doesn't mean he's emotionally tough. That's an important distinction with him.
Motivation: HIGH
Colt showed a strong willingness to participate and work with his tester. This should give his future family a wonderful foundation for training.

He handled unfamiliar situations well and showed a nice ability to move forward after something unexpected.

We didn't get a strong enough response during the mirror portion to formally score Colt's dog friendliness. Based on his overall confidence and what we know of him outside of testing, we believe he could live happily with compatible dogs but doesn't appear to need another dog in order to thrive.

Colt is a BIG baby with BIG feelings. ❤️
The tester's emotional display affected him significantly. A home with frequent yelling, emotional outbursts, intense chaos, or constantly heightened energy could be very difficult for him. He may either join in with those emotions or become emotionally distressed by them.
Colt needs an owner who can provide calm, confident, emotionally steady leadership. He shouldn't be responsible for deciding how everyone feels or what happens next. His person needs to show him, "I've got this. You don't have to."
That stability will allow his confidence to flourish without letting his tenderhearted nature take over.

He's the puppy who may look like the big tough guy in the room while secretly thinking, "Okay...but are we all okay? And can somebody please love me?" 😂❤️
