Meet Copper — the one and only golden boy in our litter!
Copper is a beautiful Golden Mountain Doodle and the only golden-colored puppy in Bella's litter of six. His five littermates are black, so his warm golden/apricot coloring has made him stand out from the very beginning.
Copper has white feet and a distinctive little white marking on his forehead. We're enjoying watching him grow and are excited to see how his coat and personality develop over the coming weeks.
ABOUT MOM & DAD
Copper's mother is Bella, our much-loved family Goldendoodle. Bella stands approximately 23 inches at the shoulder and weighed about 60 pounds when she was bred. She has been a wonderful, attentive first-time mother to her six puppies.
Copper's father is Bear, a handsome approximately 30-pound Bernedoodle. Bear is pictured in this listing so you can see his size, build and beautiful black, white and rust coloring.
Bear's parentage is particularly interesting: his father was a Toy Poodle and his mother was a Bernese Mountain Dog. That helps explain Bear's relatively compact size while still carrying his Bernese Mountain Dog heritage.
Bella and Bear together give Copper ancestry from three wonderful breeds:
Golden Retriever • Bernese Mountain Dog • Poodle
This combination is commonly known as a Golden Mountain Doodle.
EXPECTED SIZE
Bella weighs approximately 60 pounds and Bear approximately 30 pounds. Based on their sizes, our best estimate is that Copper may mature somewhere around 35–45 pounds, making him potentially a very nice medium-sized family dog.
Because mixed-breed genetics can produce variation, adult size cannot be guaranteed, and Copper could mature somewhat smaller or larger than this estimate.
RAISED IN OUR HOME
Copper and his five littermates are being raised right in our home with Bella. They are handled and loved every day and are becoming accustomed to the normal sights, sounds and activities of family life.
Copper is still very young, so we're not going to make claims about his adult personality before we really know him. As he grows over the next several weeks, we'll update his listing with the personality and temperament we actually observe.
COPPER WILL GO TO HIS NEW FAMILY WITH:

• Age-appropriate deworming
• Written health and vaccination records
• Daily handling and age-appropriate socialization
Copper will remain with Bella and his littermates until he is at least 8 weeks old and ready to make the transition to his new family.
