About Cotton
All listing information is self-reported. Verify information before conducting business. Learn how to verify information before buying
Cotton is just as sweet, loving, and gentle as he looks in his pictures. You could not ask for a better puppy. He prefers to be inside cuddling on the couch then outside playing in the heat (but who doesn't). Today, Sept 1st is the first day listing him. I have had an extremely busy summer with my children and just now getting the time to sit down and get pictures and listing put on the website. Just wanted to let everyone know this because one of the first questions is "why is he still available at his age?" Cotton is being raised indoors, around my two children, other dogs, and cats on our farm. Introducing different things and animals at a young age imprints them with good habits playing and socializing with others as they get older. He will come home to you up to date on his puppy shots and de-worming's, puppy informational packet, written health guarantees, collar, leash and toy. He is ready for his new home now. We are accepting deposits of $150 to hold if need be. If you cannot make it down during the week to pick him up and need to wait until the weekend, then a deposit would need to be placed to hold him. We will not hold without a deposit. We do not accept checks of any kind. We do accept cash or Venmo ONLY. Deposits are nonrefundable unless something happens to him while in my care then you would receive the deposit back or transfer it to another puppy if available. So please make 100% sure you want him before placing a deposit on him. Text or email me with any questions you may have at . We look forward to talking with you.
📦Pick-up and Delivery options. We offer flexible delivery options to ensure a safe and comfortable transition for your puppy: • Local pickup is always welcome and preferred. • Ground puppy transport- we do not make arrangements nor know prices but can send you puppy transporters contacts that owners have used in the past to get quotes or set up transports. If this is something you would like to do just let me know and I can send those contacts to you. All delivery arrangements are discussed personally to ensure the best and safest option for each puppy. We never suggest shipping puppies as cargo.

What kind of dog is a Shichon?
The Shichon or Zuchon is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu. This hybrid is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club as the Zuchon. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 9-12 inches tall.
Do Shichons get along with kids?
Shichons are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Scichon are easy-going and enjoy the companionship of their owners. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What kind of exercise do Shichons need?
The Shichon does not require formal daily exercise. Routine play is sufficient though they do enjoy short walks with their owners. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What kind of coat care does a Shichon require?
The coat of a Shichon is usually thick and sheds very little. The coat can come in a variety of lengths depending on which breed this dog's coat takes after. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Shichons are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shichons?
Shichons are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
