🐾 Health Comes First
* Parent dogs are DNA health tested through Embark or tested by their breeder before joining our program.
* Annual veterinary exams for all adults, with additional prenatal and postpartum exams for our moms.
* Puppies receive regular veterinary care, age-appropriate vaccinations, bi-weekly deworming beginning at 2 weeks, and are microchipped before going home.
🐾 Temperament Matters
* We do not accept deposits before puppies are born and typically wait until 3–4 weeks of age.
* Puppies are matched to families based on temperament using ongoing evaluations and Volhard temperament testing at 7 weeks to help ensure the best lifelong fit.
* We encourage families to be flexible with color and gender if finding the best personality match is the priority.
🐾 Raised in Our Home
* Puppies are born and raised inside our home, surrounded by our family and four children.
* They receive daily handling, grooming desensitization, exposure to household noises, car rides, farm animals, and early potty training with pee pads and outdoor dog-door introduction.
* Whenever possible, puppies stay with their mother until 9–10 weeks of age to encourage healthy social development.

These dogs like being in charge, keeping an eye on the house, and most of all, having fun. Full-grown, they typically weigh 24-30 pounds and stand 10-12 inches tall.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis have a long, thick, water-resistant outer coat of hard, straight hair and a short undercoat. They can be red, sable, fawn, or black and tan, all with white markings on the legs, chest, muzzle, or blaze (vertical line between the eyes). Pembrokes also may have a “fairy saddle” of hair on their shoulders pointing in a different direction than the rest of the coat. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Pembrokes are small enough for apartment life, but they enjoy homes with spacious yards too. They like being outdoors, but they prefer to split their time between life inside with the family and playtime in the yard. They are fairly easy to train.
