Dallas is a gorgeous ee clear cream long-haired dachshund male with an impressive pedigree behind him and the kind of foundation we are very excited to watch develop.
Cream dachshunds are beautiful and highly sought after, but finding creams that have been bred with real attention to correct dachshund structure, balance, and the AKC breed standard can be much harder. Our goal is not simply to produce a beautiful color—we want our creams to come from lines where quality and structure matter just as much.
Dallas comes from beautiful AKC lines with multiple champions behind him, including an AKC Grand Champion grandsire with stunning structure and breed type. That is especially important to us when producing creams, because we want puppies that are bred toward the dachshund standard rather than selected for color alone.
Dallas is an ee clear cream and may possibly carry hidden dapple, but because that cannot be determined by appearance alone, we will be genetically testing him for dapple before making any claims about his pattern.
He is still only a few days old, so it is far too early to know exactly how his structure and personality will mature, but the pedigree and foundation behind this little boy give us plenty to be excited about.
