Doris is a beautiful one-year-old Golden Retriever with a sweet personality and a wonderful combination of beauty, intelligence, and playfulness. She inherited her light golden coloring and distinctive white chest marking from her grandsire, and she has displayed a lovely, naturally feathered tail since just a few months of age.
During the winter months, Doris develops a thick, luxurious coat similar to her sire’s. In the summer, she sheds down to a shorter, classic field-golden appearance like her mother. Doris has an exceptionally sweet temperament and is playful, affectionate, and well socialized. She especially enjoys playing fetch and has a fun, mischievous side—she loves chasing the ball and stealing it from the other dogs when they are playing! She is also very intelligent and eager to learn. Doris knows her name and has already learned numerous commands and tricks. While she is an active and energetic girl, she melts into a puddle of affection when she gets your full attention. If given the opportunity, she is more than happy to shower you with kisses from head to toe!

Wenger’s Willow (Dam)
Willow is our beloved family dog and the proud mother of this litter. She is an AKC-registered dark Golden Retriever, weighing approximately 65 pounds, and has been genetically tested clear. Willow has been a cherished member of our family for the past five years and has had 2 litters of puppies. She has been an exceptional mother—delivering, nursing, and caring for all 12 of her puppies completely on her own, without the need for any intervention or supplemental feeding. Willow is a well-tempered and active dog. She absolutely loves the water and playing fetch—something that came naturally to her after watching another dog retrieve just once! Her strong retrieving instincts are truly impressive and speak to her excellent lineage.
Backyard’s Dasher (Sire)
Dasher is our AKC-registered dark Golden Retriever and joined our family 2 years ago. While we initially weren’t sure if he would be a permanent member of our home, his calm demeanor and sweet, affectionate nature quickly won us over—he’s now part of the family for good. Dasher enjoys roaming the farm, collecting "treasures" to stash in his bed, but always makes time for snuggles and chin scratches. His gentle and loving personality balances perfectly with his playful energy.
