Meet Duke 🐩💙
Duke is a sweet, affectionate Miniature Poodle who is looking for a loving forever home. He is 6 months old, very people-oriented, playful, and loves being close to his person. He enjoys cuddling, spending time with people, car rides, and exploring his surroundings. He has a loving, gentle personality and enjoys both playtime and relaxing with his favorite people.
Duke is up to date on his vaccinations and will come with his veterinary records, pedigree/breeder paperwork, crate, toys, food, and additional supplies to help make his transition into his new home as smooth as possible.
Duke is a smart puppy who is potty and crate trained . He does best with consistency, positive reinforcement, attention, and plenty of interaction. He is a very social puppy and does not enjoy being alone for extended periods of time. Because of his personality, I would ideally like him to go to someone who has a lot of time to spend with him and can provide plenty of companionship throughout the day, such as someone who works from home or is retired. He thrives when he can be around his people and included in their daily activities.
Duke is being rehomed solely because of my current schedule and circumstances. I am a pediatric resident and unfortunately cannot provide him with the amount of time and companionship he deserves. This is a very difficult decision because he is deeply loved and has been an important part of my life.
My priority is finding Duke a loving, responsible forever home where he will receive the attention, companionship, continued training, and care he deserves.
If you would like additional information, photos, or would like to meet Duke and see if he would be a good fit for your family, please feel free to message me. Serious inquiries only, please. I am happy to answer questions and provide veterinary and pedigree documentation to serious prospective families.

What's it like owning a Miniature Poodle?
France has been officially recognized as the Poodle’s country of origin, but the Poodle’s earlier ancestors came from central Asia. The German variety has probably influenced the modern breed most (‘Poodle’ is German for ‘splash’ or ‘puddle’). They typically weigh 10-15 pounds.
Are Miniature Poodles safe around children?
Miniature Poodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Miniature Poodle gets along well with other animals, other dogs, and children. Poodles are highly adaptable and make good watchdogs. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Miniature Poodles high-energy dogs?
The Miniature Poodle requires less exercise then the Standard Poodle, but should be walked or allowed to play outdoors. It should do fine with apartment life. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
How much grooming does a Miniature Poodle need?
The Miniature Poodle has a distinctive fine, frizzy, wooly coat similar in texture to sheep’s wool. Solid white is most common, but the coat may also be solid grey, brown, apricot, or black. There are three distinct grooming styles for show Poodles: puppy clip, continental clip, and English saddle clip. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Miniature Poodles are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Do Miniature Poodles need a house with a yard?
Miniature Poodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
