Thank you for you interest in our Airedales. Our Kennel name is "Enchanted Airedales". We have been breeding Airedales for 20 years and we started with an absolute commitment to preserve, protect and improve the amazing, Majestic Airedale Terrier breed. We can't stress enough to potential owners, the importance thinking about incorporating an Airedale into the family, to read, research, educate about what an Airedale Terrier potential and needs are. Airedales are not "regular, ordinary" dogs. Airedales are very smart and very social dogs. They truly are little persons and it is crucial for their humans to fully understand how they think, their Temperaments, Personalities, Needs, etc This is the only route to build the most beautiful bond with Airedales and to get unforgettable, invaluable memories.
Another reason why it is paramount to self educate about Airedales is so that you can easily identify and appreciate very important characteristics that differentiate an elegant, majestic and exquisite appearance in an Airedale compared to another where the breeder has no knowledge, has not invested, designed and produced high quality physical/Genetic characteristics in their bloodline.
In our opinion Airedales are categorized in two groups: Group #1 come from Breeders who produce super bloodlines and Group # 2 come from breeders who don't know much about the breed and don't really care other than selling puppies for a profit. Google and you will find photos of the most elegant, gorgeous, Exquisite Airedale Terriers (Deep Chest, Long Neck, High Shoulders, Shorter Torso, back legs slightly shorter than front legs, Narrow, flat Skull and Slanted eyes). Those Airedales come from breeders committed to the bone with the Airedale Terrier breed. It requires from these breeders years frequently decades, Designing a bloodline, Investing thousands of hours and funds, Discarding/Selecting Airedales from other reputable breeders and from your own litters according to the strategy goals, Sacrificing Vacation time, Properties, Accommodations, etc.
Then, you will find photos of Airedales that look different (Wide pitbull like Skulls, big round eyes frequently with a mean look when adults, rear legs taller than the front legs, a torso so long that it bows down, chest lacking depth, "XL" size.
So in short words, not all Airedale Terriers will look the same just because they are pure breed.
We are including photos of our ADT bloodline from past litters as well some of our Sires and Dams. An Airedale Terrier should look like a gorgeous, elegant puppy even when adults. That exquisite beauty is what our bloodlines will always offer.
Thank you for stopping by and checking Enchanted Airedales.

What makes Airedale Terriers special?
Airedale Terriers are a good mix of naughty and nice. They love exercise and bonding with their families but also can be stubborn in certain situations. If you’re in it for the long run, they’ll be there to keep you entertained and protected. Full-grown, they typically weigh 50-70 pounds and stand 22-23 inches tall.
Are Airedale Terriers good family dogs?
Airedale Terriers are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Airedale Terriers are perfect pets for families with children because they aren’t aggressive and genuinely love their families. Airedales get along with kids of all ages, as well as other household animals. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Do Airedale Terriers need a lot of physical activity?
Due to their natural affinity for hunting and the great outdoors, Airedale Terriers need to be active. Taking walks throughout the day, playing fetch in a big yard, and having a companion will keep them feeling fresh and frisky. Puppies require a bit more exercise, so be prepared for lots of walks and playtime from day one. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
What should I expect with Airedale Terrier shedding?
Airedale Terriers have typical terrier coats and trademark goatees. The outer layer has a uniquely smooth and wire-haired feel, and the undercoat is short and soft to keep them warm. Airedale Terriers have mostly tan coats with bits of black along the back and sides. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate. Airedale Terriers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
How much space does a Airedale Terrier need?
Airedale Terriers are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. Airedales get along with kids of all ages, as well as other household animals. However, Airedales tend to be dismissive of rules unless properly trained and could do serious damage to the house if left to roam free. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.
