🏔️ Meet Everest — Your Future Adventure Buddy & Built-In Best Friend Everest is not the kind of puppy who plans to sit on the sidelines. She wants to be right there with you. Curious, active, affectionate, and full of personality, Everest is always interested in what is happening around her. She likes to explore, participate, investigate, and stay involved in whatever the day brings. Whether you are heading outside, working around the house, playing in the yard, or simply settling in for the evening, Everest has the kind of personality that says: “Where are we going, and can I come too?” 🐾 Ready for Adventure — But Still Loves a Good Cuddle Everest has a spirited, playful side and enjoys staying busy, but she also has a wonderfully affectionate nature. She loves a good cuddle and knows how to slow down and enjoy being close to her people. Then, when it is time to get moving again, she is ready. That balance is one of the things that makes her so much fun. Everest has enough personality to keep life interesting while still showing the sweetness and connection you want in a family companion. ❤️ The Kind of Dog Who Becomes Your Sidekick Everest already seems like the kind of puppy who will form a strong bond with her future family. She does not just want to live in the same house as you. She wants to do life with you. Walks, yard work, family outings, road trips, lazy evenings, new adventures, or life's unexpected challenges—Everest seems determined that her person will never have to tackle anything alone. She is looking for someone to explore the world with. And she plans to be there every step of the way. 👧 Raised in the Middle of Real Family Life Everest is being raised as part of our family and receives daily handling, attention, and interaction. Our three-year-old regularly plays with the puppies, so Everest is already growing up around: • Children • Quick and unpredictable movement • Toys • Household noises • Laughter and excitement • Daily activity • Lots of hands-on interaction She is learning from an early age that normal family life can be busy, noisy, playful, and fun. 🧬 About Everest Everest is: 75% Poodle / 25% Border Collie Both breeds are known for intelligence, trainability, and their ability to build strong relationships with their people. She has more of a border collie personality and brings that love to everything. At seven weeks old, Everest completed the Volhard Puppy Aptitude Test and scored primarily 3s, with a number of scores close to 4s. Those results fit what we see in her personality—social and people-oriented, while also showing curiosity, confidence, and enough independence to explore her surroundings. With continued training, structure, and socialization, Everest has the foundation to become a wonderful companion and family dog. 🛁 Grooming & Handling Everest is bathed and groomed weekly so that regular coat maintenance and hands-on care become familiar parts of her routine while she is still young. She is becoming accustomed to: • Brushing • Bathing • Paw handling • Being picked up and examined • Routine coat care Starting these habits early helps prepare her for the grooming and maintenance she may need throughout her life. 🏡 Already Getting a Head Start Everest is or exposed to: • Potty trained • Crate trained • Leash trained • Handled daily • Early socialization • Starting basic obedience skills (sit, recall, kennel up) • Child interaction • Exposure to normal household activity • Exposed to cats, chickens, and turkeys (but I wouldn't trust her alone with a turkey yet) She is still a young puppy and will need continued consistency and training in her new home, but she is already building a strong foundation. 🏔️ Who Is Everest Looking For? Everest would love a family or individual who wants a dog to be more than just a pet. She wants to be your sidekick. Your walking buddy. Your adventure partner. Your couch companion. Your shadow when you need one. And the little face beside you reminding you that whatever life brings, you are not facing it alone. If you are looking for an affectionate, curious, active puppy who is ready to become part of everything you do, Everest may be the one waiting to climb life's mountains with you. Frequently Asked Questions
About Border Collie Puppies

What's the personality of a Border Collie?
Border Collies are one of the smartest and most focused breeds around. These sweet dogs are happiest when they have an activity to do or job to work on, whether it’s playing fetch, digging a hole, or keeping an eye on you. Full-grown, they typically weigh 30-55 pounds and stand 18-22 inches tall.
Do Border Collies get along with kids?
Border Collies are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The Border Collie gets along well with other pets and children, but it may try to dominate dogs of the same sex. They should be socialized as puppies with small, non-canine pets so they can overcome their natural prey instincts. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Border Collies couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Border Collies need high-energy owners to satisfy their appetite for exercise and activity. If they get bored or restless, they’re known to act out. The best way to keep Border Collies active is to give them work to do, whether it’s an exercise like running or a game like Frisbee. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
What should I expect with Border Collie shedding?
Border Collies have thick, shiny undercoats and colorful outer coats that come in several colors, including solid, bicolor, tricolor, merle (lighter coat with speckled patches), or sable (light undercoat with black-tipped hairs). These dogs are average shedders that don’t need much grooming. Brush them once or twice a week to keep their coats clean, and only bathe them when needed. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
How much space does a Border Collie need?
Border Collies are best suited for a home with a yard, though they can adapt to apartment life with enough exercise. They’re adaptable to just about any living setting, so as long as they get enough exercise and attention, they will be happy spending time indoors, outdoors, in warm climates, or cooler places. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Poodle - Standard Puppies

Are Standard Poodles a good breed to own?
France has been officially recognized as the Poodle’s country of origin, but the Poodle’s earlier ancestors came from central Asia. The German variety has probably influenced the modern breed most (‘Poodle’ is German for ‘splash’ or ‘puddle’). In 18th and 19th century Europe, the Poodle served a wide variety of purposes, including duck hunting, guiding, and later circus performing, from whence the modern grooming style likely arose. The Poodle became a popular pet for the French aristocracy, and in time was officially adopted as the national dog. Poodles were imported to America in the 20th century. They slowly rose in popularity and eventually became the country’s most popular dog. Famous Poodles include author John Steinbeck’s dog Charley, subject of the book ‘Travels with Charley: In Search of America’, and Weird Al’s Poodle Bela, who…uhm… sat on his head for the album cover of ‘Poodle Hat.’ Full-grown, they typically weigh 12-55 pounds and stand 10-15 inches tall.
Are Standard Poodles a good choice for families with kids?
Standard Poodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Standard Poodle gets along well with other animals, other dogs, and children. Standard Poodles are highly adaptable and make good watchdogs. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What kind of exercise do Standard Poodles need?
The Standard Poodle requires substantial amounts of exercise. Standard Poodles require long walks and outdoor activities such as swimming or playing catch. The Standard Poodle is fond of retrieving, as it has origins as a hunting dog. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Are Standard Poodles high-maintenance when it comes to grooming?
The Standard Poodle has a distinctive fine, frizzy, wooly coat similar in texture to sheep’s wool. Solid white is most common, but the coat may also be solid grey, brown, apricot, or black. There are three distinct grooming styles for show Poodles: puppy clip, continental clip, and English saddle clip. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Standard Poodles are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Are Standard Poodles easy to train?
Standard Poodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
