Faith is a Chaweenie Dearhead mixed with a Jack Russel Terrier so she's very intelligent and fully trained in all commands. She's fully potty trained to let you know when she needs to go outside. She sleeps in late until about 8:00-9:00am with you in her bed or yours. Whatever you allow. She's trainthe1to lay down and stay until you wake up in the morning and when you eat or watch TV. She will never beg or snatch food. She's training for ESA and trained to heel and not to pull and can be walked off leash to the park or around the neighborhood and stay close to you. She comes when called. She stops barking on command if ever at all. Whatever you allow. She knows to walk in the grass when instructed, and not poop or pee on the pavement, and to stay out of the street. Faith is highly intelligent. The vet told me she doesn't look older than 4 years old. The only female of our last litter of five. Spaying mom. Eats hard puppy food mixed with fresh pet and dry liver snacks and fresh, homemade food. Faith uses homemade doggie toothpaste and gets her teeth brushed twice daily and doggie mouthwash in her water and doggie toothpaste powder on her food twice daily. When I adopted her and she was pregnant with a chaweenie mixed litter of five. She had 4 boys and one girl. We decided to keep the girl. Faith was reacued from an unhoused drug/alcohol abuser and was used and abused for breeding multiple times. She's such a strong, amazing, awesome, good, resilient, and quiet dog. She's great with rounding up small dogs like a cattle dog. She ran and rounded up all her pups at the park. I kept them all together until about 16 weeks, because I wanted her to experience the joys of motherhood one last time for as long as I could in an apartment, and then we rehosued the boys. She's still with her daughter, who is now about four months old. We can only keep one dog, so we are having to rehosue Faith because of the landlords rules. This dog is to be spayed immediately and not for breeding! She has been through that only God knows how many times which is cruel! She is ready to rest and snuggle and eat and sleep her days away with an older person who will be quiet and chill like her and is looking to spoil her with hugs kisses and lots and lots of one on one love. She's great with females and female girls and small dogs and cats.

About
Dachshund
Puppies
What should I know about Dachshunds before buying one?
A Dachshund may be short, but they’re long in body and personality. These dogs are stubborn and can be aggressive, but are extremely loyal, loving, and protective of their families. It takes patience to raise a Dachshund, but there are many rewards. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-32 pounds and stand 8-9 inches tall.
Are Dachshunds friendly with strangers and kids?
Dachshunds are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Dachshunds fit best in homes where they can live indoors with their pet parents. Families with smaller children may want to choose a different breed, as Dachshunds can be a little too feisty and aggressive toward kids, especially if they don’t understand how to treat a dog with respect. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
How do I keep a Dachshund physically active?
Dachshunds need exercise a few times a day. They’ll enjoy a brisk walk, and their little legs can actually carry them for quite a distance if you’ve got time for a longer stroll. In general, plan on allotting about 30 minutes of exercise per day. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Do Dachshunds shed a lot?
Dachshunds actually come in three different coat types, wire-haired, long-haired, and smooth. For smooth-haired and long-haired Dachshunds, a weekly brushing will help clean their hair and cut back on shedding. For wire-haired Dachshunds, you’ll need to pluck or strip their hair about twice a year and trim their excess hair around their eyebrows and paws. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Do Dachshunds need a house with a yard?
Dachshunds are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Dachshunds fit best in homes where they can live indoors with their pet parents. They will act out and dig even more if left to their own devices full-time in your backyard. They are fairly easy to train.

Socializing the Chihuahua as a puppy is essential to prevent overt aggressiveness and avoiding World War III with other pets in your house. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Are Chihuahuas high-energy dogs?
Chihuahuas can usually get all the exercise they need by running around indoors. If the dog becomes a little chubby, put on the Tai Bo DVD and get down! Actually, these dogs should be allowed to walk everywhere until the desired weight is reached. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What should I expect with Chihuahua shedding?
Chihuahuas can have a long or short coat and come in a wide variety of colors, including sand, chocolate, silver, chestnut, and even blue.
