Forest was actually the very first puppy in the litter to be claimed. Over the past several weeks, family after family came to meet the puppies and asked if Forest was available, and every time we had to tell them he already had a home.
Unfortunately, his original family recently had to back out, which means Forest is now looking for his forever family again.
The funny thing is, after watching all of his brothers and sisters leave, Forest is now our very last puppy available.
We have to admit that he's also become our family's favorite from the start. Our four daughters have spent countless hours playing, cuddling, and growing attached to him, and there have been more than a few tears over the fact that we can't keep him ourselves. With three dogs already, adding a fourth just isn't realistic for our family.
Forest has been raised right in our home with our four daughters and our other dogs, so he's received tons of attention and interaction from the beginning. He also spends time outside playing and exploring and has grown up as part of our everyday family life.
He has a beautiful dark, fluffy coat with warm tan markings and touches of white, giving him an adorable little teddy-bear look.
Forest has received his vaccinations, deworming, and veterinary exam, and his veterinary records will go home with him.
More than anything, we want to find Forest a loving family. He's particularly special to us, so finding the right home for him is more important than simply finding someone to take the last puppy.
