Goblin's Ad was first listed on Nov 3rd. We keep our puppies a little longer than most so that we can really get a sense of their personalities to help the new puppy parents make an informed decision that they are getting the right puppy for them. But more importantly, we want to make sure the puppy is going to the right home for them. We don't want a more laid-back reserved puppy going to a home where there may be several kids wanting a very active puppy or a very active puppy going to a home with an older couple wanting a more laid-back reserved puppy. With that being said, personalities change, but we do try our best to make sure the right puppy goes into the right home. I would describe Goblin's coloring as a honey color with white markings. He is a very sweet puppy. He is playful but not in your face. He is just as content playing with his own toys or whatever he can find then having to have constant attention from someone. He is a cuddle bug when you want and will lay on our lap or beside you on Sundays and watch football all day. Goblin is being raised indoors, around my two children, other dogs, and cats on our farm. Introducing different things and animals at a young age imprints him with good habits for playing and socializing with others as he gets older. He has been using a doggie door now for about 3 weeks without any accidents and has not potty in the crate as long as he gets out when needed. He does great with grooming and in the tub as well. He will stay right by your side when outside and does not need a leash. He has been started on basis commands and is doing pretty good with them. We put A LOT of work in with him so you don't have to. (This is only one of the perks of getting one of our puppies.) He will come home to you up to date on his puppy shots and de-wormings, puppy informational packet, written health guarantees, collar, leash and toy. He is ready for his new now. We are accepting deposits of $150 to hold if need be. We will not hold without a deposit. We do not accept checks of any kind. We do accept cash or Venmo. Deposits are nonrefundable unless something happens to him while in my care then you would receive the deposit back or transfer it to another puppy if available. So please make 100% sure you want him before placing a deposit on him. We can send you a couple of videos of him if you text me at . Text or email me with any questions you have. We look forward to talking with you. Rest assure you are not buying from a scammer. My I.D. has been verified by the puppies.com website. ✨ Details: • Healthy, happy, and thriving • vaccinations up to date • health guarantees • Socialized with farm sounds, small dogs, cats and everyday home activities. 📍 Ready for his forever home now. 📩 Read above ad for information. Serious inquiries only, please — we want the very best home for this precious boy. 💕🐶 Text message preferred or calls - Leave a message if you call. I am a bit hard of hearing so I would probably have to call you back when I am somewhere quite where I can hear you better.

Shih Tzu

Frequently Asked Questions
About Shih Tzu Puppies

Is a Shih Tzu the right dog for me?
The Shih Tzu is small, popular, and friendly, so what more could you ask for in a companion dog? Their intelligence and loyalty, along with their independence, will have you cuddling up with this bunch of cheerfulness in no time. Full-grown, they typically weigh 9-16 pounds and stand 9-11 inches tall.
Do Shih Tzus do well in a busy household?
Shih Tzus are generally excellent with children of all ages. Shih Tzus are indoor dogs who get along with other pets very well and love to cuddle in your lap, making them great family companions. You would never want to limit these small dogs to just the outdoors. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Are Shih Tzus couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Shih Tzu need short, daily walk but should also occasionally be exercised indoors. They do not adapt to hot weather very well, so they must be a primarily indoor dog. Care must be taken not to over or under exercise them as well. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
Is a Shih Tzu a good choice for someone with allergies?
Shih Tzus' long coat is somewhat high maintenance and requires everyday brushing to prevent tangles. These dogs should be taken to a professional groomer every couple of months. They are usually easier to maintain when their coats are clipped short, but you can't argue that those who have the long, dreamy coats are dramatic and eye catching. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Shih Tzus are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shih Tzus?
Shih Tzus are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Since they are small, this breed can adapt to apartment living or a big house. Shih Tzus are indoor dogs who get along with other pets very well and love to cuddle in your lap, making them great family companions. They are fairly easy to train.
