Gorgeous full masked purebred male pomeranian. This boy is purebred pomeranian but he is a Victorian/throwback pom wich means he expresses more of the genes from his larger sleddog ancestors so he will mature at around 13 to 15 pounds for those who want a sturdier pomeranian.Located in Blanca 20 miles east of Alamosa in the SLV off 160. Pups father Teddy comes from Embark DNA tested parents(puppies grandparents on father's side)both parents Embark breed ID results have shown 100% pomeranian. The pups mother Foxy comes from AKC registered parents(puppies grandparents on mother's side) are both AKC registered so thease pom pups are verified purebred poms. They are eating grain free food and you'll need to continue this diet as poms are members of the spitz breed group they are more ancient and have fewer copies of the genes required for digestion of gluten than what more modern breeds have. Causing them to get intestinal inflammation from grain such as corn, wheat and soy. My poms love fruit mainly non citrus fruits like melon and berries and they eat most vegetables that I eat. Poms are the smallest of the spitz group/breed type. Spitz are the most ancient singularly pure catagories of dog and are basal peliolithic prototype dogs geneticly closer to wolves than more modern breeds. Poms are bred down sleddogs bred to retain their infantile facial phenotype into adulthood meaning in layman's terms they keep the baby face Teddy bear look that a wolf or larger spitz would loose after a few months. Please make sure before contacting that you DO NOT OWN ANY LARGE/POWERFUL BREEDS OF THE SAME SEX AS THE PUPPY YOUR INTRESTED IN. Large breeds only need a second to snap and kill a fragile pom pup. Most people do not realize that just because their big dog is human friendly doesn't mean its dog friendly ESPECIALLY breeds that were historicaly bred for dog fighting wich means thay were literally selectively bred for dog aggression not human aggression. If you happen to own su h a breed being as they're quite popular Ill make an exception IF SAID DOG IS CASTRATED/SPAYED and I can meat the dog and watch the interaction with the puppy to insure the babies safty.this mainly applies to dogs of the SAME SEX as the puppy you want as opposite sexes tend to get along. Im also willing to work with your schedule if a puppy needs held for a reasonable period of time. Thankyou please text that your intrested in a puppy at 719-588-2909 thanks Alysa

Are Pomeranians couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Pomeranians enjoy daily walks and lots of playtime with their families. These pups may be small, but they can sure hop, skip, and jump with the best of them. They thrive in doggie sports like agility, obedience, and flyball. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
