Hazelnut will be more than 90% Mini Schnauzer, less than 10% Bichon Frise.
Her dam is Little Bit of Midnight Magic, “Lil Bit”, a 9 lb parti-colored girl who is 86.4% Schnauzer and 13.6% Bichon, with high genetic diversity. Lil Bit also carries TT with MC5R, which is associated with a lower-shedding coat type... when Bichons and Schnauzers are already known for their allergy friendly, low to non shedding coats.
Because Mini Schnauzers and Bichons are already among the more allergy-friendly companion breeds, Hazelnut may be a lovely option for someone hoping for a smaller, low-shedding family companion.
Hazelnut’s sire is Obsidian Legacies of Onyxian Moons, "Onyx", an AKC Miniature Schnauzer who is mega coated, parti colored, high diversity, and weighs 7 lbs.
