Meet Hu! 🤍
Hu is a sweet, gentle puppy with a calm, reserved personality. He enjoys taking his time to get to know new people and loves quiet moments just as much as playtime. Once he feels comfortable, his affectionate and loyal nature shines through.
Hu has been well-socialized with children and other dogs, helping him build confidence and making him a wonderful companion for a loving family.
He has received his first round of vaccinations, has been thoroughly examined by our veterinarian, and comes with a clean bill of health. His parents have been carefully health tested—Dad has OFA-certified hips and elbows, and both parents have been genetically tested to help give him the healthiest start possible.
To help with an easier transition into his new home, Hu has already been started on litter box training, making the move toward house training smoother.
Hu will go home with:
* First round of vaccinations
* Veterinary health exam with a clean bill of health
* Toy
* Collar
* Puppy blanket with familiar scents for comfort
Hu is ready to go to his forever home this week! If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion with a sweet disposition, Hu may be the perfect puppy for you.

What's it like owning a Miniature Poodle?

Are Miniature Poodles safe around children?
Miniature Poodles are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Miniature Poodle gets along well with other animals, other dogs, and children. Poodles are highly adaptable and make good watchdogs. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Miniature Poodles high-energy dogs?
The Miniature Poodle requires less exercise then the Standard Poodle, but should be walked or allowed to play outdoors. It should do fine with apartment life. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
How much grooming does a Miniature Poodle need?
The Miniature Poodle has a distinctive fine, frizzy, wooly coat similar in texture to sheep’s wool. Solid white is most common, but the coat may also be solid grey, brown, apricot, or black. There are three distinct grooming styles for show Poodles: puppy clip, continental clip, and English saddle clip. Grooming-wise, this breed is fairly high-maintenance. Miniature Poodles are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Do Miniature Poodles need a house with a yard?
Miniature Poodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.

Puppies
Are Miniature Aussiedoodles a good breed to own?
A Miniature Aussiedoodle is a small hybrid dog breed that is a cross between a Miniature Australian Shepherd and a Miniature Poodle. These dogs are known for their friendly and social personalities, and they make excellent family pets. Full-grown, they typically weigh 15-24 pounds and stand 12-18 inches tall.
How do Miniature Aussiedoodles behave around young children?
Miniature Aussiedoodles are generally good with kids, especially when raised together. Due to their high energy levels, Miniature Aussiedoodles may not be the best fit for people who live in small apartments or do not have access to a yard. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
Are Miniature Aussiedoodles couch potatoes or do they need a lot of exercise?
Miniature Aussiedoodles are energetic and intelligent dogs that require regular exercise and mental stimulation. These dogs are social and friendly, making them a great choice for families with children or other pets. They enjoy being around people and are known for their affectionate nature. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
How often should I brush a Miniature Aussiedoodle?
The coat of a Miniature Aussiedoodle is typically soft and curly, with varying degrees of wave and curl depending on the dog's genetics. The coat can be a range of colors, including black, white, cream, brown, and gray. One of the benefits of the Miniature Aussiedoodle's coat is that it is typically low-shedding, making them a great choice for people with allergies or who prefer a cleaner home environment. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What kind of home is best for a Miniature Aussiedoodle?
Miniature Aussiedoodles are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Due to their high energy levels, Miniature Aussiedoodles may not be the best fit for people who live in small apartments or do not have access to a yard. They thrive in an active lifestyle, so they do well with families who can provide plenty of opportunities for playtime and outdoor activities. They are fairly easy to train.
