About Jack Jack

Jack Jack takes after his mother in that he's a very shy little man. But he's also bright and curious. Toys and play time are his favorites. He loves other dogs but it's unsure about cats--more fearful than rough with them. He is from a litter of four boys and is easily the most timid among them. He is also very tiny. Small but fast, forever zooming around the condo at top speed to chase his brothers. Jack Jack has a blue tint to the fur on his face and head though it's a bit hard to catch in photos. Every day he's gaining more and more confidence with every day but he is still a very shy little man. He's been able to experience more handling and a bit more socialization since a few of his brothers were rehomed, but he's still quite the timid boy. The sweet boy is slowly warming up to sneaking into laps and under blankets for love, though he has to run away if you let him know that you've caught him doing so. We are willing to meet halfway at a public location to hand him off. We are located in Columbus, OH near Galloway.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Chorkie Puppies

What makes Chorkies special?
The Chorkie was developed in the USA. It is a hybrid between the Chihuahua and the Yorkshire Terrier. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 6-9 inches tall.
Are Chorkies friendly with strangers and kids?
Chorkies are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Due to the small size and bold temperament the Chorkie may be a bit too brave when it comes to dealing with large dogs and will need supervision. Smaller pets and cats are ideal companions. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
Are Chorkies high-energy dogs?
The Chorkie can usually get all the exercise it needs by running around indoors. The Chorkie love to go on walks and on family outings. The Chorkie does not prefer to be left alone. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
How often should I brush a Chorkie?
The Chorkie has two coat types, long hair and short hair. Long haired varieties have about half the length of hair of a Yorkshire Terrier. The coat is easy to maintain, doesn’t shed much and is not likely to matt. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
What kind of home is best for a Chorkie?
Chorkies are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. The Chorkie prefers life indoors and is unsuited to cold or extreme heat. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.

Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
