Ladybug — Petite Goldendoodle Female
Ladybug is the kind of puppy who wants to do life with her people. She is confident, outgoing, playful, affectionate, and exceptionally people-focused. Whether you’re going for a walk, working in the yard, heading to puppy class, or relaxing at home, Ladybug would much rather be involved than watching from the sidelines.
She has a fun, expressive personality and loves interactive play. She enjoys toys, tugging, chasing, and carrying things around in that very Golden Retriever way. She is highly motivated and eager to engage with her person, which makes her an exciting puppy to train.
Temperament testing showed us a puppy with excellent confidence and resiliency. Ladybug handled environmental surprises beautifully, recovering immediately from a significant startle and going back to investigate. She is socially confident, curious about the world, and very willing to try new things.
Ladybug is also an excellent service or therapy prospect for the right person. Her strong human focus, motivation, confidence, emotional awareness, and quick recovery are qualities we value in working prospects. As with any puppy, working potential is never a guarantee, and her family will need to continue developing her impulse control, calm settling, and independence as she matures.
Ladybug has plenty of energy and loves activity, but her biggest developmental need is learning her off switch. She can get very excited when the people around her are excited and benefits from a family who will balance play, adventures, and training with intentionally teaching calmness. Because she loves being with people so much, we also want her family to continue crate training and healthy alone-time practice rather than allowing her to expect constant access to her people.
She can be considered for a family with children. She loves engaging with kids, although animated children can quickly get her excited, so we prefer a family willing to teach both puppy and children appropriate play and boundaries. She also has a good amount of chase and toy drive, so homes with cats, poultry, or other small animals should be prepared for careful introductions, supervision, and training.
Ladybug is expected to mature around 15–25 pounds and has a beautiful wavy, low-shedding coat. She is from our Honey × Pippin Petite Goldendoodle pairing and has been raised with our puppy curriculum, early socialization, and temperament evaluation.
For someone looking for a small Goldendoodle who is confident, highly trainable, affectionate, playful, and genuinely interested in building a relationship with her person, Ladybug is a very special little girl. Her ideal family isn't simply looking for a dog to have around the house—they're looking for a dog to share life with.
