Her temperament evaluation was fairly straightforward. She's confident, playful, affectionate, energetic, and genuinely enjoys both people and dogs.

Liberty Bell approached her tester in a sweet, considerate way. She's comfortable engaging with people without being overly pushy or demanding.
Confidence: HIGH
Liberty Bell showed great overall confidence. She's comfortable exploring and interacting with her environment and doesn't require a lot of encouragement to participate.
Motivation: HIGH
She's willing to engage, participate, and work with people. Combined with her energy and playfulness, this should give her future family some wonderful tools for training.

Liberty Bell notices when something is uncomfortable or unexpected, but she handled those moments well and was able to continue with the evaluation.

Liberty Bell really does enjoy being loved, cuddled, touched, and handled. Some of the impatience we saw during handling seemed connected to her higher energy and desire to get back to playing.
We also think there are small areas where establishing more trust and rapport with her person will help. Once she knows and trusts you, we expect her comfort with handling to become even stronger.

Liberty Bell is playful and active! She'll appreciate a family that enjoys interacting with their dog and can provide appropriate outlets for her physical and mental energy.
Sound & Sight Sensitivity: Medium
Unfortunately, these two portions of her test occurred a little too close together, so one reaction may have influenced the other.
We could tell she was bothered by both unexpected sight and sound, but she handled herself well and recovered, which supports what we saw in her resilience testing.

Liberty Bell showed a noticeable interest in movement and chase-type activities. Games and appropriate outlets for that instinct may be especially enjoyable for her.
🐕 Dog Friendliness: Assertive
Liberty Bell REALLY likes dogs.
She spent time at the mirror, interacted with it, and even jumped against it trying to engage with the "dog" she saw.
We believe she could especially enjoy a home with another compatible dog. She appears to find comfort in canine companionship, and we think a stable, well-behaved adult dog could actually be a wonderful influence on her.
She's the type of puppy who may watch what another dog is doing and think, "Okay, that's what we're doing? I'm in!" 😂
For that reason, choosing the right canine companion and modeling good behaviors could be particularly valuable for her.

Liberty Bell was definitely aware of the tester's emotions and appeared concerned, but she left us with one question:
Was she concerned...or did she think we were starting another game? 😂
We don't feel this portion gave us a clear enough response to confidently label her highly tenderhearted. She appears emotionally aware without showing that she becomes completely overwhelmed by another person's emotions.
And Liberty Bell gets bonus points for using the potty box during her evaluation! 🎉

She loves attention, enjoys physical affection, likes other dogs, and approaches life with a playful enthusiasm. Her higher energy means she'll appreciate a family willing to engage her through play, training, enrichment, and adventures.
