Li'll Spot is white, brown, tan, auburn, and gold and cuddly like a little teddy bear. Right now he can be held in one hand. He has GORGEOUS fur. He had his dew claws professionally removed and his first vet exam in Jan. and will have his 1st puppy shot, de-worming and a very thorough vet exam in March. He will be thoroughly checked for puppy murmurs, joint and other problems and will be de-wormed. (Worming is a state requirement. We have never had a puppy with a sign of worms but we obey the laws.). Our vet pronounced him very healthy and ready for his new home. He is already very sweet, playful, and active but quiet and well-behaved. All pups will be heavily socialized prior to letting them go and most go for therapy work or very good family homes and we begin the potty training process the day they are born. We finance for up to a year at 0% for homeowners in Colorado or southern Wyoming. We deliver FREE to your home in a wide area. We only breed papillons. Most puppy mills breed more than one breed of dog and sell their dogs cheap under 2,000. We lose money on our pups as most go for therapy work and we don't do it for the money. It is cruel to ship dogs and pups in cargo but it is possible to fly with them at your seat on some airlines. We are a hobbyist breeder and don't make a profit on our pups and our pups have been known to save lives and are being used for children with epilepsy, vets with PTSD, stroke victims, etc. We are very reputable and can furnish references. We use only the services of the most qualified and licensed veterinarians. We charge a little more for females only 545 down to hold one. We currently have both males and females and assorted sizes and colors. He is just too cute, cuddly, and already playful. He is also a feisty little boy but loves to snuggle with his mom and siblings. Must have a license to breed in Thornton. BEWARE OF BUYING PUPS BRED IN COLORADO as Colorado has strict laws against breeding and the breeders if not licensed could be in HUGE trouble and those buying from them might lose their deposit and/or their puppy. We don't have to worry about the laws in Colorado. We have also been tutored in veterinary care so we know how to keep them healthy. We also house our pups with plenty of room to run and play and only kennel them when traveling. It is very important to look for a purebred as anything else is most likely coming from a puppy mill. Exercise is very important for the pups and all our pups get plenty of exercise. Frequently Asked Questions
About Papillon Puppies
Is a Papillon the right dog for me?
Belgium is famous for two things: chocolate and the fabulous Papillon pup. Small and charming, this lovable breed will instantly warm up to their owners, and they make great companions for young families. Full-grown, they typically weigh 5-10 pounds and stand 8-11 inches tall.
Do Papillons get along with kids?
Papillons are generally excellent with children of all ages. They respond best to a gentle training approach and are good with children and other household pets, as long as they've been trained to respect one another. These dogs typically have longer than average lifespans, meaning you'll have a close friend for a long time. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
Do Papillons need a lot of physical activity?
The Papillon will adapt to their family’s lifestyle and do not require tons of exercise. They need a daily walk and a bit of play time to cover their exercise needs. They don't need a ton of space to run, but they do like to get outside and play occasionally. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Do Papillons shed a lot?
Papillons have have long white, hair with partlially colored patches of brown, black, or tannish-red. Their coat does require frequent (e.g. weekly) and thorough brushing to remove dead hairs, especially around their ears, to keep them healthy and free from matting. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Can a Papillon live in an apartment?
Papillons are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They respond best to a gentle training approach and are good with children and other household pets, as long as they've been trained to respect one another. They are small, but they tend to be a bit yappy, so they might not be a good fit for apartment life. They are highly trainable and eager to learn.
