There’s something special about a puppy who seems to carry a little sunshine everywhere she goes, and ‘Love-A-Lot’ is exactly that kind of pup
‘Love-A-Lot’ is a Brown Phantom Parti, Female, AKC Standard Poodle, expected to be 45-55 pounds at maturity. With her beautiful coloring, sweet expression, and wonderful personality showing through… She is already proving to be a very special girl.
And just like her name, ‘Love-A-Lot’ is being raised with one very important mission, to spread a whole lot of love wherever she goes.
RAISED WITH PURPOSE
We believe a puppy’s foundation starts long before they ever leave our home. Our puppies are raised with an early puppy curriculum designed to help introduce them to the sights, sounds, sensations, and experiences they’ll encounter throughout life.
‘Love-A-Lot’ is introduced to:
Various Sounds- household noises, everyday activity, and different sounds to help her become comfortable with the world around her.
Car Rides- introducing travel and helping her learn to stay calm in the car.
Different Surfaces & Tactile Experiences- exposing her to a variety of textures and surfaces to encourage confidence and adaptability.
Children- age appropriate interaction with children to help her learn appropriate social experiences.
People Of Different Ages & Appearances- giving her positive exposure to a variety of people and helping her earn new faces are nothing to fear.
Other Pets- supervised interaction and exposure to other animals.
New Places- introducing her to different environments and surroundings as she grows.
Scent Introduction- allowing her to experience a variety of safe and interesting scents.
Daily Handling- gentle, consistent handling to help prepare her for grooming, veterinary care, cuddles, and all those little things that come with a well rounded companion.
Our goal isn’t simply to raise a puppy who is cute. We’re working to raise a puppy who is confident, adaptable, curious, and ready to experience life with her forever family.
BEFORE ‘LOVE-A-LOT’ GOES HOME…
‘Love-A-Lot’ will leave our home with her first important milestones already underway.
She will be:
-Veterinary examined
-Given her first age appropriate vaccinations
-Dewormed on an established schedule
-Microchipped
She will be sent home with her veterinary records.
Her education doesn’t stop there! We also begin laying the groundwork for some of her everyday skills that will make the transition into her new home easier.
-Initial potty training started
-Basic obedience & training started'
-Food sample to help her transition
-Puppy pack with goodies and information
-Blanket with mom & littermates’ scent on it
That last one might just be our favorite! When a puppy leaves the only home and family they’ve lived with, having something that smells like mom, siblings, and the household they’re used to helps bring them a little extra comfort with the for the first few nights in their new home.
