Black is my favorite of this amazingly sweet set of boys. He is soulful, intelligent, and devoted. He will be the very best companion. His favorite thing to do is to stare deeply into your eyes :) He is a great communicator and loves to be snuggled. He was the first to smile in his litter and, though he can be quite focused when you are talking to him, he is usually grinning. He gets along great with his littermates but will always prefer human companionship if he has a choice.
His activity level is low-moderate for a 10-week old puppy. We expect him to be a low-medium shedder. He was 7.7 lbs on 7/16. At this time, we anticipate his weight to be between 26-36 lbs. He has had his first shots, is dewormed and is vet cleared. His vet record will be included in his purchase.
About this litter: Mama Lady and Papa Major have clear genetic testing and great temperaments. Mama weighs 28 lbs and Papa weighs 30. She is about 50% Retriever, 20% English Cocker Spaniel, and 30% Miniature Poodle. He is about 50% Cocker Spaniel, 35% English Cream Retriever, and 15% Miniature Poodle. This gives them a nice petite frame, soft straight coat, and the squarish profile of the classic retriever face with slightly longer ears to give them a “forever puppy” look.
Both parents are very petite boned and pretty. They have had Early Neurological Stimulation, are being socialized with the 7 by 7 method, and have started tray training as a precursor to potty training. They are currently working on crating at night with a partner and, after their second set of shots, they will start getting used to wearing a leash.
