Meet Matilda, a beautiful purebred English Cream Golden Retriever with a sweet, gentle personality. As the youngest female in the litter, Matilda has a naturally calm demeanor and loves spending time cuddling with people. She has successfully transitioned from nursing to puppy gruel and enjoys playing with her siblings while maintaining her relaxed, easygoing personality. Matilda would make a wonderful companion for families looking for an affectionate and devoted Golden Retriever.
Matilda comes from outstanding parents, Abby Gale and Milo, both purebred English Cream Golden Retrievers with calm, intelligent, and friendly temperaments. Milo is a large male with a broad head, while Abby Gale is a larger-built female with a loving disposition. Both are cherished family pets that live in our home.
Matilda has participated in Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) since birth. She is also receiving daily exposure to household sounds, different textures, people, dogs, and cats, along with daily one-on-one handling to help her become a confident and well-socialized companion.
Before joining her forever family, Matilda will:
Be veterinarian examined
Receive her first vaccinations at 8 weeks
Be microchipped
Go home with a familiar blanket
Include favorite toys
Include starter kibble
We do not ship our puppies because we enjoy meeting each family personally. We welcome in-person visits and are happy to schedule a FaceTime call so you can meet Matilda.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.

A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
