Meet Millie 💛
Millie is our absolutely breathtaking Golddust Yorkshire Terrier girl from Luna & Jasper’s Masterpiece Collection. She was born July 31st at a tiny 2.8 ounces and has been thriving beautifully alongside her mama and littermates.
Millie’s gorgeous golden coloring makes her incredibly special. Rather than the traditional Yorkie black-and-tan coat, she has the beautiful warm, luminous coloring associated with the Golddust Yorkshire Terrier. She is currently charting to remain a small, petite girl, although—as with every puppy—adult weight is only an estimate and can change as she continues to develop.
At this stage, Millie is still very young, so we don't assign a definitive "personality" yet. Over the coming weeks, we will continue watching her development, confidence, engagement, resilience and other temperament traits as her little personality begins to blossom. 💕
Millie is being raised through the Lil Luxe Pups puppy curriculum, which includes age-appropriate handling, early neurological stimulation, exposure to different sounds, textures and everyday experiences, and lots of individual love and attention. Our goal is to prepare each puppy for the transition from our home into yours.
✈️ Shipping & Hand-Delivery
At Lil Luxe Pups, we do not ship our puppies as unattended cargo.
For families who are unable to pick their puppy up personally, we offer nationwide hand-delivery/flight-nanny service. Your puppy travels with a dedicated person and remains safely accompanied throughout the journey. Depending on the destination and travel arrangements, we can coordinate delivery to an airport convenient to your family.
Our typical nationwide hand-delivery fee is approximately $800, although the final cost can vary depending upon destination, airfare and travel logistics.
We also welcome families who would like to fly in and personally pick up their puppy. We are happy to help coordinate the timing so your puppy's transition home is as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Our puppies typically go home at approximately 9–10 weeks of age. Very tiny puppies may remain with us longer—sometimes 12–13 weeks—if we believe additional time is in the puppy's best interest.
Millie is currently anticipated to be ready for her forever family around early October, provided she continues meeting all of her developmental and health milestones. 💛
Our priority is always the same: the safest, most comfortable transition possible for every Lil Luxe puppy and their new family. 🐾✨

About
Yorkshire Terrier
Puppies
How would you describe a Yorkshire Terrier?
The little Yorkshire Terrier thinks they're Great Danes, and like most terriers, are bold, brave, and independent. They are very intelligent and develop deep bonds with their owners. Full-grown, they typically weigh 4-7 pounds and stand 8-9 inches tall.
Do Yorkshire Terriers do well in a busy household?
Yorkshire Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How do I keep a Yorkshire Terrier physically active?
The Yorkshire Terrier can have most of their exercise needs met through indoor play, but they prefer a daily walk or romp in a fenced-in yard. They don't need much exercise, so don't wear your Yorkie out too much, but they will need to play with their families throughout the day. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Do Yorkshire Terriers shed a lot?
Yorkies' coats can be a bit high maintenance, especially for those with the long, silky coat. Long coats require professional maintenance, including adding oil and wrapping the coats in rice or tissue paper, along with weekly washings. The Yorkshire Terrier has no undercoat, and they do shed a small amount. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Yorkshire Terriers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Can a Yorkshire Terrier live in an apartment?
Yorkshire Terriers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
