Meet Molly, a stunning black-and-white tuxedo Shihpoo and truly a little doll baby. ❤️ Her crisp white paws are adorable, but it’s her sweet, playful personality that really steals your heart. Molly was not interested in being a model for her photo session—she would much rather play! 😂 My favorite thing about her is how she follows me everywhere like a little duck. When I walk down to the She-Shed, she trots right beside me. Her tail goes like a little helicopter, and I love watching her bounce around like she’s getting her motor started. 😂 Molly is playful, affectionate, intelligent, and loves attention and snuggles just as much as playtime. She is truly precious. Her mother weighs 7 pounds and her father weighs 8 pounds. Molly has had a complete veterinary examination, is up to date on vaccinations, has been dewormed and found free of parasites, and has received Simparica Trio. Our puppies are raised inside our home—not in a barn or kennel—with their parents and lots of love. We have only one litter a year, and I am always available for support after your puppy goes home. Molly will go home with a travel crate, bed or blanket, travel bag, toothbrush, new bowls, starter food, cookies, leash and collar, hair accessory, puppy pads, and toys. If you’re looking for a beautiful, happy little companion who will follow you like your tiny shadow, Molly may be the one for you. ❤️🐾 Video available upon request. No third-party adoptions. Photos were taken in different lighting because darker coats can be difficult to capture accurately.

Frequently Asked Questions
About Shihpoo Puppies

What's the personality of a Shihpoo?
With mixed genes from a Shih Tzu and Poodle, it’s no wonder the Shihpoo is such a loving, sweet dog. These little guys adore people and will do just about anything to be with them. They don’t need much exercise or grooming, but they’ll take as much attention as they can get. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-18 pounds and stand 8-18 inches tall.
Are Shihpoos good family dogs?
Shihpoos are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. These dogs get along well with children but prefer older kids who are more gentle. They also make good friends for other family dogs and cats. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
What's the best way to exercise a Shihpoo?
Shihpoos don’t need much exercise to stay happy and healthy. They usually get enough activity just by playing with their family. If you want to take your Shihpoo out, they enjoy going for walks or playing around in the grass. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What's the coat like on a Shihpoo?
The Shihpoo’s coat will range from curly to wavy to straight, depending on whether their Shih Tzu or Poodle genes are stronger. Normally, it’s curlier than the Shih Tzu but not as curly as the Poodle's. Their fur doesn’t shed much, so normal brushing or professional grooming will keep these dogs looking their best. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What should first-time owners know about Shihpoos?
Shihpoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. At 7-20 pounds, the Shihpoo is a great fit for apartments or houses. If they have a yard to play in, make sure your Shihpoo primarily lives indoors so they can be around people. They are can be stubborn and challenging to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
