Montauk is crate trained, potty trained, sits for his food and listens to recall. We do early neurological stimulation and early scent introduction for all our litters, and we have his vet records on hand. He has currently had 3 sets of vaccines.
Montauk's Temperament -
Montauk is the sweetest, most easygoing little guy with such a gentle nature. His mom Gracie is an incredibly kind-hearted Standard Poodle, and we see so much of that same softness in Montauk. He’s confident and playful without being overly busy or demanding, and he seems genuinely happy just being included in whatever is going on around him.
He loves to play and spend time with the other dogs, but he’s equally happy being scooped up into your arms for some attention. He has a really nice “off switch” for a puppy and settles easily when it’s time to relax. He’s also naturally quiet and handles things like baths, grooming, and everyday activity around the house beautifully.
Montauk has blended so easily into our home and gets along wonderfully with the other dogs. He’s confident enough to hold his own without being pushy, and he seems to understand when it’s time to play and when it’s time to settle down.
We really feel like Montauk could fit into so many different types of homes. He could happily live with another dog or be someone’s one-and-only. He could enjoy adventures with an active family but doesn’t strike us as the kind of dog who will need constant activity to be content. Give him some playtime, a walk, plenty of love, and a spot next to you on the couch, and I think he’ll be one very happy boy.
He’s just one of those puppies who is easy to love and easy to live with — sweet, confident, adaptable, and incredibly lovable.
