** One-Year Health Guarantee **
Good Home Goldens stands behind the health of every puppy we raise. This guarantee gives you confidence that your Golden Retriever has been bred and cared for with health as our top priority.
Coverage Period
This guarantee is valid for one (1) year from the puppy's date of birth.
What's Covered
We guarantee your puppy against severe, congenital (genetic) hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia that is diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian and that significantly affects the dog's quality of life. Coverage applies only to hereditary defects present at birth — not to conditions caused by injury, accident, infection, poor nutrition, obesity, over-exercise, or other environmental or care-related factors.
Our Remedy
If your puppy is diagnosed with a covered genetic hip or elbow condition within the guarantee period, we will provide a replacement puppy of comparable value from a future litter at no additional cost for the puppy itself. You may keep your original puppy — we will never ask you to return a dog you love. This guarantee provides a replacement puppy only; it does not include cash refunds or reimbursement of veterinary, travel, or other expenses.
Required Documentation
To make a claim, you must provide a written diagnosis from a licensed veterinarian, including supporting X-rays or imaging that confirm the condition. The diagnosis must clearly identify the issue as hereditary (genetic) rather than the result of injury or care.
Care Requirements
To keep this guarantee valid, you agree to provide the following care during the first year:
Feed a high-quality large-breed puppy food specify Blue Buffalo Life Protection Formula. Do not switch to a different formula without first consulting your veterinarian.
Maintain regular veterinary care, including all recommended vaccinations and at least one annual wellness exam.
Follow appropriate exercise guidelines for a growing large-breed puppy: encourage healthy, moderate activity and avoid high-impact exercise such as jumping from heights, long runs on hard surfaces, or repetitive stair climbing that can stress developing joints and growth plates.
When This Guarantee Is Void
This guarantee is void if the care requirements above are not followed, or if the condition results from injury, neglect, improper diet, obesity, over-exercise, or any cause other than a genetic defect. We may request your puppy's veterinary records to confirm that the required care was provided.
