Our Miniature Dachshund puppies are raised in our home with our family and receive lots of love, handling, and socialization from day one. 🐾 They are CKC registered, started on potty training, and receive age-appropriate vaccinations and health care before leaving for their new homes. Our puppies come from beautiful lines that carry cream and EE blue genetics, and we focus on happy, healthy puppies with the sweet, loyal, and playful personalities dachshunds are known for.

Local pickup is always welcome! We understand that the perfect puppy may find their family outside of Florida, so delivery options may also be available.
For families farther away, we are happy to discuss personally delivering your puppy or arranging safe transportation with a trusted puppy transporter. Delivery availability and cost depend on the destination and are separate from the puppy’s purchase price unless otherwise agreed upon.
We do not ship puppies unattended as cargo. The safety and comfort of our puppies always comes first, and any transportation arrangements must be agreed upon in advance.
A deposit is required to reserve a puppy. Remaining balances and any applicable delivery fees must be paid according to the agreed-upon terms before the puppy is released or transported.
We’re happy to work with families to find the safest and most practical way to get your new little dachshund home. 🐶❤️

About

Is a Miniature Dachshund the right dog for me?
The Dachshund (pronounced dak-sund; also known as a ‘Teckel’) originated in Germany in the sixteenth century. They were bred and trained to chase down prey, such as a badger (Dachshund means ‘Badger Dog’) or fox, enter its burrow, kill it, and retrieve it. Full-grown, they typically weigh 9-11 pounds and stand 5-6 inches tall.
How do Miniature Dachshunds behave around young children?
Miniature Dachshunds are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The Miniature Dachshund is somewhat reserved around strangers and may bark at them, but forms a strong bond with family. It can be too courageous around larger dogs. They're very vocal and bark quite a lot.
What activities do Miniature Dachshunds enjoy most?
The Miniature Dachshund needs a small amount of exercise; medium length walks or a fair amount of play in the yard should be sufficient. Miniature Dachshunds may tire easily so exercise should be spaced out throughout the day. Miniature Dachshunds can live comfortably in an apartment, but it is best if they get an occasional view of the wild. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What should I expect with Miniature Dachshund shedding?
The smooth- and long-haired Miniature Dachshund should be brushed occasionally to remove dead hairs. Long-haired Miniature Dachshunds are prone to tangles, so they should be groomed more often. The coat of the wire-haired Miniature Dachshund should be plucked twice a year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Can a Miniature Dachshund live in an apartment?
Miniature Dachshunds are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
