IT'S ALWAYS BEST TO CALL US DIRECTLY FOR MORE INFORMATION! (270)832-2457 This cute little guy is 2nd generation Shipoo "Petey", he is 75% Shih-Tzu 25% Poodle. Petey is a SPECIAL little guy. The leather backdrop are his most recent pictures from 10/23/25. His current weight is just 2.25 pounds at 17 weeks. This guy will only go to a special, mature home, with not a lot of small child activity. He is small and is tracking to stay small! Price is firm, it's hard to let the one go and frankly, that's what it will take us to let him go. Here is a video from him and another YOUNGER puppy at about 15 weeks. https://youtu.be/PVmM_Ke6L7w?si=7AvW6Oug78ayg7Ho Here is a video from one of their first times outside. https://youtu.be/Smk6BNW_jN8?si=1NIQASHPrz2a_KZ3 This is his 3.5 pound dad's first litter. Mom is around 9 pounds, and it is her first litter as well. We are very pleased with how this litter turned out! He has been a very healthy extra-tiny. Eats well, great energy level. Just very small. Looking for someone who wants an extra cute travel buddy or lap dog. He is tracking to be under 6 pounds at a healthy adult weight (but that can change, and the sky is the limit for overweight dogs! ) He has potential to make a great therapy or emotional support dog. Serious people are welcome to our farm, or we do have personal delivery options also available. He come with current shots, micro-chipped, vet checked and 3 year health warranty. Serious people are welcome to our farm for pick up. Or we do have personal delivery options also available to most locations. This is JUST US, driving our puppies, not a ground shipper that has puppies from all over getting each other sick! We charge $500, and we meet off the highway. Door to door would be extra. If we have to fly WITH HIM by air, we have options for that as well (starting at about $750)

Frequently Asked Questions
About Shihpoo Puppies
What's the personality of a Shihpoo?
With mixed genes from a Shih Tzu and Poodle, it’s no wonder the Shihpoo is such a loving, sweet dog. These little guys adore people and will do just about anything to be with them. They don’t need much exercise or grooming, but they’ll take as much attention as they can get. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-18 pounds and stand 8-18 inches tall.
Are Shihpoos good family dogs?
Shihpoos are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. These dogs get along well with children but prefer older kids who are more gentle. They also make good friends for other family dogs and cats. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
What's the best way to exercise a Shihpoo?
Shihpoos don’t need much exercise to stay happy and healthy. They usually get enough activity just by playing with their family. If you want to take your Shihpoo out, they enjoy going for walks or playing around in the grass. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What's the coat like on a Shihpoo?
The Shihpoo’s coat will range from curly to wavy to straight, depending on whether their Shih Tzu or Poodle genes are stronger. Normally, it’s curlier than the Shih Tzu but not as curly as the Poodle's. Their fur doesn’t shed much, so normal brushing or professional grooming will keep these dogs looking their best. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
What should first-time owners know about Shihpoos?
Shihpoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. At 7-20 pounds, the Shihpoo is a great fit for apartments or houses. If they have a yard to play in, make sure your Shihpoo primarily lives indoors so they can be around people. They are can be stubborn and challenging to train.

See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
