Prince is very lively and energetic. He loves to play, especially fetch; yes, he knows how to bring the ball back and drop it for you to throw again. Hope you have a healthy arm because he will wear it out.
He also loves affection. He will park himself right next to you and put his body weight on you till you pet him. He is trained not to get on the furniture but every now again he let’s his desire for getting those rubs get to him. He is protective of the home; he will definitely let you know when someone is near the house. Though he is accustomed to visitors coming into the home, he is still cautious but not aggressive of them and doesn’t take long to warm up to them once he realizes they are safe.
He is potty trained and does really well with letting you know he has to go. He has been around other dogs within the home so he is not unfamiliar with familiarizing with other dogs.
He has not been neutered.
The reason for selling him is not out of want or because there is an issue with him, but out of circumstantial need.
We welcomed him into our family back in 2024 so that our 2 kids could have another pet after I returned from a 2 year deployment overseas which required me to find our first Schnauzer (King - Standard size) a new home.
Unfortunately, our family took a huge dynamic shift when a car accident left my wife fully paralyzed and now I am leaving again in a few months. It pains us to have to do this but they will not be able to properly care for the dog due to the ages of our kids.
Please help us find him a loving home. If you are within a reasonable distance, I may be willing to deliver him if necessary.
