Rafiki is a gentle, easygoing little Maltipoo boy with the sweetest face and a naturally affectionate personality. He loves giving kisses, plays nicely with his littermates, and has a calm, friendly way about him that makes him easy to enjoy. He should fit especially well with a family looking for a puppy who is playful and social without being overly busy. Rafiki was born August 25, 2026. Both of his parents are in the 8 lb range. Our puppies are well socialized with children and other animals and are exposed to the grooming process while they are here. They have also started on potty training using a doggie door. Puppies go home current on age-appropriate vaccinations and worming, along with a health record for you to take to your veterinarian. We offer a one-year genetic and congenital health guarantee. All of our puppies are priced as pets only. Puppies remain available for sale on multiple websites until we receive a deposit to hold them. Deposits are nonrefundable. We accept multiple forms of payment, including PayPal, Venmo, credit card, cash, Zelle, and Afterpay. We are located within approximately five hours of Houston, five hours of New Orleans, 3½ hours of Baton Rouge, three hours of Lafayette, three hours of Little Rock, and about two hours from Jackson, Mississippi, to give you an idea of driving distance. For families outside our immediate area, we frequently use flight nannies. We also have someone local who can provide more regional ground transportation for a fee. Please inquire for details. For more information about our health guarantee, vaccination protocols, breeding practices, and other policies, please visit the various information pages on our website. Frequently Asked Questions
About Maltipoo Puppies

Are Maltipoos a good breed to own?
The Maltipoo is a cute cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. While mixed breeds can be a bit unpredictable, most Maltipoos are little bundles of joy with a sweet disposition and puppy playfulness that lasts a lifetime. Full-grown, they typically weigh 5-20 pounds and stand 8-14 inches tall.
Are Maltipoos good family dogs?
Maltipoos are generally good with kids, especially when raised together. They can co-exist with dogs and other pets if they’re socialized as puppies, but they’re somewhat territorial. They get along well with kids and love the companionship. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How much exercise does a Maltipoo need?
The Maltipoo is easygoing and do not require much exercise, so their activity needs can typically be met with just a few activities per day. Whether it’s gentle wrestling indoors, taking a walk, or playing games in the yard, Maltipoos love getting their heart rate up a bit, especially if it involves spending time with you. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
How much brushing and bathing does a Maltipoo need?
The Maltipoo’s coat can range from the silky texture of the Maltese to the distinctive frizz of the Poodle and can be many colors, including grey, black, white, and apricot. Most Maltipoos are a good match for allergy sufferers because they don’t shed much, but these pups require an owner with plenty of patience for grooming, as they need regular brushing and even professional care to keep their coats in good shape. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
Can a Maltipoo live in an apartment?
Maltipoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Because of their size and activity needs, Maltipoos are a great fit for families that live in apartments or smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
