Raptor is approximately 38 lbs and will be 2 years old in December 2026. We purchased him with the intention of potentially adding him to our breeding program, but as he has matured, we have decided that he is not the right fit for our program. Raptor can absolutely go to a pet home with a neuter agreement. He is a playful dog with a strong play drive who loves toys and especially enjoys children. He has gotten along well with both male and female dogs so far. He would likely do well in an active family who enjoys an ACD and wants a dog to play with and include in their everyday life. He is more reserved with unfamiliar adults and can be fearful in new situations, so he will benefit from continued positive socialization and confidence-building. We cannot predict how much additional socialization will change his natural temperament, so we want to be upfront about that. Raptor is crate trained but is not currently house trained. He is current on vaccinations, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention. For those interested in showing, Raptor has 6 AKC conformation points, including a major, and has earned his Puppy of Achievement. For those interested in breeding: Raptor has been BAER tested with full bilateral hearing and has a PennHIP score of LDI .41 / RDI .40. He is intact and AKC registered with full registration. No other health testing has been completed. If you are interested in Raptor, please tell us about yourself, your household, and what you’re looking for in your next dog. Buyer can pick up dog in person or hire a transport company.
