About Our Puppies 🐾 Our Mini American Shepherd puppies are raised right in our home as part of the family from the very beginning. We want each puppy to grow into a confident, loving, adaptable companion, so their first weeks are about much more than simply growing! Mini Aussies are an incredibly intelligent, loyal, energetic, and people-oriented breed. They tend to form strong bonds with their families and love having a job, even if their “job” is following you from room to room, learning new tricks, playing fetch, or supervising everything you do. As our puppies grow, we introduce them to normal household sights, sounds, handling, different surfaces, toys, age-appropriate enrichment, and new experiences. They’ll receive plenty of individual attention while also learning how to interact appropriately with their littermates and the dogs around them. Because they are a herding breed, Mini Aussies typically need a family prepared to provide both physical exercise and mental stimulation. Walks, adventures, training, puzzles, fetch, hiking, and other activities can all be wonderful outlets. At the same time, we want our puppies to learn that life doesn’t have to be “go, go, go” all the time. Learning how to settle, relax, and simply hang out with their people is important too. Every puppy is an individual. Some may grow into outgoing little social butterflies, while others may be more observant, sensitive, cuddly, independent, driven, or laid-back. As their personalities emerge, we’ll continue getting to know each puppy so families can choose a companion whose personality and needs fit their lifestyle—not just their favorite color. Most importantly, these babies are loved tremendously while they’re here. Our hope is to send each one into the world prepared for their next adventure and into a family that will love them for the rest of their life. ❤️
