Robin is a super sweet, headstrong, precious little girl. She is doing very well with potty training. She loves to run and play; she is quick to find out the inner workings of any plushie given to her.
We were originally considering holding her back for our breeding program, but decided she would make a much better fit in a wonderful pet home. She loves snuggles and watching TV with her humans. This spoiled little munchkin prefers being picked up and carried rather than going on walks (common lazy sausage-dog dachshund behavior that we've seen lol). She is a little bigger than her siblings and does play a little rougher than the others - she's almost become a pro at tug-of-war. She believes herself to be as big as our huskies are, and we think she believes she's queen of the couch.
Robin is up-to-date on her vaccines. She has had 3 sets of puppy shots so far; she has been dewormed and will do so again prior to going home, and will go home microchipped, with flea and tick meds pre-applied. She is already Embark tested, which will be emailed to the new owner or printed out to give to your vet. She will go home with a puppy starter kit, blanket, toys, and a bag of transition food. She will have a pre-paid AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION. (Breeding program homes would need to be interviewed and approved prior to obtaining Full Rights. If granted, an additional fee would apply for Full Rights.) Our contract contains a Genetic Health Guarantee of up to 1 year, and lifetime breeder support for the life of the puppy. We also state in our contract that should anything ever happen and the puppy has to be rehomed for any reason - at any age- the puppy MUST come back to us - no exceptions. Responsible breeders will always know who owns their puppies to keep them from ending up in rescues or shelters.
We meet publicly for local pickup, or can schedule a time to meet at the GSO airport if you are flying home with your new pup. For the safety of ourselves, our home, and our pets, we do not allow any home visits. This mitigates the risk of exposure to anything that could be tracked in from the public, as we follow very strict biosecurity protocols in our household for the well-being of our dogs. We will always offer to FaceTime to get to know you, answer any questions, and so you can meet this precious baby and mom. I am very transparent with my future puppy homes, so we welcome any questions you may have and are always willing to go over the breed and what their care entails.
