Confident and outgoing, Rocky approaches life with enthusiasm and curiosity. He loves interactive play and has a natural talent for turning almost anything into a game. One of his favorite activities is still wrestling with his siblings—or recruiting Dad into a play session whenever possible. If there's fun to be had, Rocky is always happy to join in.
As he's grown, one of the biggest changes I've seen is where his priorities are. While he still loves to play, his people now come first. More often than not, Rocky chooses cuddles and attention before heading off to wrestle with his siblings. He has become incredibly people-focused, and one of my favorite things is watching him quietly sit and wait, hoping he'll be the next puppy picked up or invited out to play. Rather than demanding attention, Rocky politely parks himself in a sit and patiently waits his turn.
Despite his leadership tendencies and playful personality, Rocky has a wonderful off-switch. After an active play session, he's perfectly happy to soak up belly rubs, enjoy a cuddle, or wander off for a well-earned nap. He still combines confidence, intelligence, and social engagement, but over the past couple of weeks he's developed into a true heavyweight teddy bear—just as happy relaxing with his people as he is starting the next game.
MY IDEAL HOME
Rocky would thrive in a home that enjoys an engaged, interactive dog who wants to be part of the action. He would be an excellent fit for families who enjoy training, enrichment activities, outdoor adventures, or simply having a dog that eagerly participates in everyday life.
His confidence and resilience allow him to approach new situations with ease, while his intelligence and willingness to engage make him especially rewarding to work with. Rocky still loves a good adventure, but these days he's just as likely to ask for cuddles before heading off to play. He has matured into a companion who is every bit as fun as he is affectionate.
