A deposit is required to reserve your puppy, with the remaining balance due in cash at pickup. Puppies are picked up in Ava, Missouri, where we'll meet in a safe public location.
If you're unable to pick up your puppy in person, we can arrange air shipping for $600 to a major international airport near you. You are also welcome to arrange your own pet transporter or flight nanny.
If you hire a flight nanny, we are happy to meet them at Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF) for a $100 airport handling fee. The flight nanny must provide an airline-approved carrier, or arrangements must be made with us in advance for us to purchase one. Any carrier or related expenses will be reimbursed by the buyer.
All of our puppies are sold as pets only.
Each puppy goes home with:
- Up-to-date vaccinations and deworming
- A written health guarantee
- One free month of health insurance
- A sample of their current puppy food
- Health and vaccination records
Health Guarantee Requirements:
- The complimentary one-month health insurance must be activated before your puppy leaves. We will provide the information needed, and activation is required as part of our health guarantee.
- Your puppy must be examined by a licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of leaving our home to validate the health guarantee.

The smooth- and long-haired Miniature Dachshund should be brushed occasionally to remove dead hairs. Long-haired Miniature Dachshunds are prone to tangles, so they should be groomed more often. The coat of the wire-haired Miniature Dachshund should be plucked twice a year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
