🐾 Meet Shan 💙 Everyone needs a best friend. Shan is ready to be someone's. Shan is one of those puppies who quietly steals your heart. I'll admit, finding the right home for him has been especially important to me. Over the past few months, he's become part of our everyday life. He spends his days playing with his dad and the other dogs, rides along on errands whenever he can, and at night he curls up beside me in bed. Somewhere along the way, this sweet little boy wiggled his way into all of our hearts. Because of that, I've never been in a hurry to send him home with just anyone. I've been waiting for the family that truly feels like the right fit. One of my favorite things about Shan is how much he loves riding in the car. He gets so excited when we stop at stores because he knows there might be a treat waiting for him. Watching his little tail wag while he takes everything in is enough to make anyone smile. As the last puppy from his litter, Shan has enjoyed something many puppies never get to experience. He's continued learning our daily routines, exploring new places, meeting new people, and growing into an incredibly confident little companion. He's very easygoing and gets along wonderfully with our other dogs. Housebreaking has been going really well, he's become a great listener, and his gentle, affectionate personality makes him such an easy puppy to live with. There really is something special about Shan. He's playful when it's time to play, happy to follow you around the yard, and perfectly content to snuggle up beside you when the day is over. He's become so comfortable here that it's easy to imagine he'll always be part of our family. But that's not the future I want for him. As much as we all adore him, Shan deserves a family that's all his own. He deserves to be someone's constant companion, to have a lap that's always waiting for him, and a home where he'll be loved for the rest of his life. 💛 Quick Facts • Male Shichon • Born February 13, 2026 • Ready to go home now • From AKC registered parents • Vet checked • Up to date on vaccinations • Up to date on deworming • Well socialized and home raised 💙 What Shan Already Knows ✔ Sleeps quietly through the night ✔ Loves car rides ✔ Comes when called ✔ Doing well with housebreaking ✔ Comfortable around other dogs ✔ Enjoys meeting new people ✔ Loves store trips and treats 🐶 Raised With Love At Imperial Cuddles, our puppies are raised inside our home as part of our family. Frequently Asked Questions
About Shichon Puppies

What kind of dog is a Shichon?
The Shichon or Zuchon is a cross between the Bichon Frise and the Shih Tzu. This hybrid is recognized by the American Canine Hybrid Club as the Zuchon. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-15 pounds and stand 9-12 inches tall.
Do Shichons get along with kids?
Shichons are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Scichon are easy-going and enjoy the companionship of their owners. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.
What kind of exercise do Shichons need?
The Shichon does not require formal daily exercise. Routine play is sufficient though they do enjoy short walks with their owners. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
What kind of coat care does a Shichon require?
The coat of a Shichon is usually thick and sheds very little. The coat can come in a variety of lengths depending on which breed this dog's coat takes after. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Shichons are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
What should first-time owners know about Shichons?
Shichons are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.

Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
