🩺 Veterinary Care & Health
Every puppy goes home with:
wellness examination prior to placement.
Age-appropriate vaccinations.
Routine deworming.
Microchip for permanent identification.
Health/vaccination records.
Written purchase agreement and health guarantee.
Additional age-dependent care:
Puppies remaining until approximately 8–9 weeks typically receive three sets of age-appropriate vaccinations.
Flea and tick preventative administered when appropriate for the puppy's age and weight.
Additional veterinary care as needed.
Our breeding dogs receive applicable health testing, including OFA evaluations and/or genetic screening through Embark or Paw Print Genetics.

The smooth- and long-haired Miniature Dachshund should be brushed occasionally to remove dead hairs. Long-haired Miniature Dachshunds are prone to tangles, so they should be groomed more often. The coat of the wire-haired Miniature Dachshund should be plucked twice a year. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
