Seeking a Forever Retirement Home for Spice; my Blue Fawn French Bulldog who is 5yrs old. She will be placed only as a retirement companion to an exceptional home! She has produced 3 successful, amazing litters who are now excelling in different areas
She’s truly an amazing girl who deserves a cozy & nurturing home to enjoy her Golden Years. She has been a part of my family for many years. Due to my career requiring frequent travel, I am no longer home as often as she deserves; I feel it is unfair to continue placing her in boarding environments away from her comfort zone. My priority is her comfort, stability and happiness for the remainder of her years.
She has always been a very healthy French Bulldog, no concerning health issues. ; her Show Quality lineage being the obvious proof with DNA/ Health Testing! Spice is the most obedient and affectionate dog I’ve ever owned.. very gentle and emotionally intuitive. She is wonderful with other dogs and absolutely adores babies and kids. She will be happiest in a calm environment; preferably someone who’s retired, semi-Retired, works from home or owns a business where she can be alongside you all day. She’s happiest being close to her people.
This decision was not made lightly. Spice is deeply loved, therefore I will be selective about her retirement home. A rehoming fee will apply to ensure a committed, responsible placement. Though this transition will be difficult, it is being made with her best interest at heart.
If you feel this may be a perfect fit for you, please reach out and introduce yourself ,

What's it like owning a French Bulldog?
Contrary to their name and grimace, French Bulldogs are about as sweet as they come. They’re happy-go-lucky, entertaining, and can barely fit their big hearts in their tiny bodies. As an easygoing breed that expects nothing but love and affection, a Frenchie will surely be your family’s best friend. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-28 pounds and stand 11-13 inches tall.
Are French Bulldogs good family dogs?
French Bulldogs are generally excellent with children of all ages. French Bulldogs love living with other dogs, pets, and kids. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
Can French Bulldogs keep up with an active lifestyle?
French Bulldogs need a bit of activity each day, but they’re pretty low maintenance when it comes to exercise. A short walk or play session in the yard should do the trick. Frenchies don’t have much stamina and are sensitive to the heat, so don’t expect much from them in the sporting department. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
Do French Bulldogs shed a lot?
The French Bulldog has a fairly fine coat of short and smooth hair that can be fawn, white, or brindle, with a variety of markings. These dogs also have soft, loose skin that forms wrinkles on their head and shoulders. While their coats don't shed much, the Frenchie’s wrinkles need a bit more TLC. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
What living situation works for a French Bulldog?
French Bulldogs are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. French Bulldogs also hate hot weather and swimming, so keep them indoors and away from water. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods

Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
