Sweet Pea aka Vera looks like a twin to her sister Olive, but Vera is solid Black. Her hair is gorgeous and is growing out nicely. Vera is very showy and has a nice gait. She is going to be small. She is more on the mellow side and is a sweet as she can be! Sweet Pea gets along well with all of our dogs and loves to play with her sister, Olive. They are on the small size - I anticipate them to be 6 - 10 pounds. So if you are looking for a smaller sized one, one of these are for you! If you get a Havanese Puppy from us! Each puppy will go home with a WELCOME PACKAGE containing their Vaccine Record Book, a Folder containing tips for Havanese Puppies with Baby Photos, their Puppy Contract, AKC Registration, a Blanket with scents of Mama & Siblings, a Full Size Bag of Current Kibble and a couple cans of Wet Foods, a bag of Chew Puppy Rings, a Puppy Harness and Leash, a couple of Toys, and an Extra Blanket with Scents in a wrap if Puppy is really missing Mama. ** If driving bring with you in the car several large towels for any car sick puppy. They will have very little bit of food before traveling, but almost every puppy gets car sick. ** If you are Welcoming into your Family either SWEET PEA aka VERA &/or OLIVE they both come with an AKC Registration & Transfer Papers. ** At this time I would discourage flying at this time, as the waits are too long, TSA are quitting and they are discouraging flying with animals. Talk to me before you make any plans. Both Girls are prepaid registered with AKC, they just need to be transferred over in your name. They each come with a Full AKC Registration. I am open to a trade for a different bloodline with a light color girl or boy. Please ask me for more information. 925-487-6251 Text

What should I know about Havaneses before buying one?
The Havanese is very intelligent, happy-go-lucky, lively, and playful. They are quite affectionate and will become extremely attached to their human families. The Havanese are not known to be excessive barkers when taught at a young age not to bark unnecessarily, but they will alert you to strangers and make an excellent watch dog. Full-grown, they typically weigh 7-13 pounds and stand 8-12 inches tall.
How do Havaneses behave around young children?
Havaneses are generally excellent with children of all ages. The Havanese are also revered for their good nature with children and elderly folks, making a great match for young families and mature owners alike. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How much exercise does a Havanese need?
The easy-to-train Havanese is a good fit for apartment life. They are content to be playful and active indoors, and while they do not require a yard to play, they do need to be taken on daily walks. These pups are have an average demand for exercise and are well-suited to less active lifestyles. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.
What's the coat like on a Havanese?
Havanese have several coat varieties for choose from. In addition to the short-haired Havanese, there is also the possibility for wavy, curly, or even corded hair. The Havanese exhibits a soft double coat on both the outer and undercoat. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate. Havaneses are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Where do Havaneses do best — city or country?
Havaneses are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. As long as your Havanese pup is properly socialized, they should be very friendly with other humans you welcome into the house, as well as other animals. They are fairly easy to train.
