Meet our Teal Collar Boy!
Teal Collar Boy is a stunning blond red brindle Irish Wolfhound with an incredibly sweet personality and a heart full of love. With his beautiful light coat, gentle eyes, and affectionate nature, he's impossible not to fall in love with. If we had to choose just one puppy from this litter to keep, Teal Collar Boy would be our pick.
Raised inside our home on Long Island, New York, he's been loved, handled, and socialized every day since birth. He has a calm, gentle temperament and enjoys being close to his people just as much as he enjoys playing with his brothers and sisters. His easygoing personality and loving disposition are everything we hoped for in an Irish Wolfhound.
Teal Collar Boy comes from our beloved Irish Wolfhounds, Leyota and Lotso, and is part of their first and only litter. He has been raised with constant care, attention, and early socialization to help him become a confident, well-rounded companion.
Before joining his forever family, he will receive age-appropriate vaccinations, routine deworming, and veterinary health examinations. Our greatest priority is finding a family that understands the Irish Wolfhound breed and will provide him with a lifetime of love, companionship, and exceptional care.
If you're searching for a truly special Irish Wolfhound with a beautiful blond red brindle coat, a gentle soul, and an unforgettable personality, Teal Collar Boy may be the perfect addition to your family.

About
Irish Wolfhound
Puppies
How would you describe a Irish Wolfhound?
Irish Wolfhounds are giant, sweet dogs who are very affectionate toward their owners. They thrive on human companionship and use their big size to eat human food off the counter. Unfortunately, their lifespan is very short. Full-grown, they typically weigh 105-120 pounds and stand 30-32 inches tall.
Will a Irish Wolfhound get along with my other pets?
Irish Wolfhounds are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. If they are raised around cats and other small dogs, Irish Wolfhounds can get along with them, but they shouldn’t play together outside. Irish Wolfhounds get along well with children, but they are so big that they aren’t always the best fit for toddlers. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
What activities do Irish Wolfhounds enjoy most?
Irish Wolfhounds enjoy the chase and are excellent competitors in the doggie sport of lure coursing. They like long walks where they can explore their surroundings, but they especially appreciate an opportunity to run around in a safe, enclosed area. Irish Wolfhounds can be happy with varying amounts of exercise, but it’s important to make sure you give them enough to keep their weight in check. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
How often should I brush a Irish Wolfhound?
Irish Wolfhounds have a shaggy, rough coat that should be brushed twice a week to remove tangles and any dead hair. They shed moderately throughout the year and are pretty easy to groom for being so huge. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
How much space does a Irish Wolfhound need?
Irish Wolfhounds are best suited for a house with a good-sized yard. Irish Wolfhounds prefer a home with a safely fenced-in yard where they can run and play, but they need to live inside with their humans. They are moderately trainable with consistent effort.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.

Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods

Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
