About Teapot - Spayed

Teapot has been spayed and is looking for a loving home. She is a precious Blue Cream (blue and tan covered in cream) and has been a wonderful addition to our breeding program. She has birthed three litters for us, and now it's time for her to find her forever family.
She was born from our Wales (UK) import Brie, who we also affectionately call Gram-Gram now because she is the foundation of our breeding program. Teapot is a joyful girl who enjoys playtime outdoors and also lounging inside with her chew toys. When our dogs go out to the play yards, she immediately grabs a toy and trots around looking for someone to play with, usually her daughter Chai, since they have the same playful energy. She enjoys riding in the car and is leash trained. Since our facility doesn’t require her to be fully potty trained, she will need some work on that, but is crate trained and can hold her potty. She’s used to living/sleeping with other dogs since our housing consists of larger segregated living areas of 9’x10’ zones where three dogs stay together.
Teapot is up to date on all of her vaccines and yearly deworming schedule. She was spayed this year in July and also had her nares (nose) done to help with her breathing. Her epiglottis wasn't long enough to safely alter; even though it sounds like she needs it trimmed when she gets excited and plays pretty hard, our vet recommended leaving it at its current length.
If you'd like to learn more about her or think she could be a good fit for your family, please contact us.
She will come with her medical records, food for transitioning, and familiar toys to make the transition a little easier for her. I've included photos of our facility so you can see how we treat our dogs. You can also see more on our Instagram and Facebook pages (Johnson House Bullies look for our blue logo).

About
French Bulldog
Puppies
What's it like owning a French Bulldog?
Contrary to their name and grimace, French Bulldogs are about as sweet as they come. They’re happy-go-lucky, entertaining, and can barely fit their big hearts in their tiny bodies. As an easygoing breed that expects nothing but love and affection, a Frenchie will surely be your family’s best friend. Full-grown, they typically weigh 16-28 pounds and stand 11-13 inches tall.
Are French Bulldogs good family dogs?
French Bulldogs are generally excellent with children of all ages. French Bulldogs love living with other dogs, pets, and kids. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
Can French Bulldogs keep up with an active lifestyle?
French Bulldogs need a bit of activity each day, but they’re pretty low maintenance when it comes to exercise. A short walk or play session in the yard should do the trick. Frenchies don’t have much stamina and are sensitive to the heat, so don’t expect much from them in the sporting department. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
Do French Bulldogs shed a lot?
The French Bulldog has a fairly fine coat of short and smooth hair that can be fawn, white, or brindle, with a variety of markings. These dogs also have soft, loose skin that forms wrinkles on their head and shoulders. While their coats don't shed much, the Frenchie’s wrinkles need a bit more TLC. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
What living situation works for a French Bulldog?
French Bulldogs are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. They’re great family pets and adapt well to just about any setting, including apartment living. French Bulldogs also hate hot weather and swimming, so keep them indoors and away from water. They are fairly easy to train.

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.

Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.

Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.

A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
