🐶 Maltipoo Puppy – “Ted” – Rehoming Due to Travel Plans
About Ted
Ted is a 5‑month‑old Maltipoo with a soft cream coat, expressive eyes, and the sweetest personality. He loves to cuddle, play, and follow you around the house. He’s gentle, friendly, and does great with people. He’s currently around 8 lbs and expected to stay small.
Why We’re Rehoming
We are a couple preparing to move and begin traveling for work, and we won’t be able to provide the stable routine and consistency Ted deserves. This is a very hard decision, but we want to make sure he goes to a home that can give him the time, structure, and attention he needs.

About
Maltipoo
Puppies
Are Maltipoos a good breed to own?
The Maltipoo is a cute cross between a Maltese and a Toy or Miniature Poodle. While mixed breeds can be a bit unpredictable, most Maltipoos are little bundles of joy with a sweet disposition and puppy playfulness that lasts a lifetime. Full-grown, they typically weigh 5-20 pounds and stand 8-14 inches tall.
Are Maltipoos good family dogs?
Maltipoos are generally good with kids, especially when raised together. They can co-exist with dogs and other pets if they’re socialized as puppies, but they’re somewhat territorial. They get along well with kids and love the companionship. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How much exercise does a Maltipoo need?
The Maltipoo is easygoing and do not require much exercise, so their activity needs can typically be met with just a few activities per day. Whether it’s gentle wrestling indoors, taking a walk, or playing games in the yard, Maltipoos love getting their heart rate up a bit, especially if it involves spending time with you. Overall, their exercise needs are low.
How much brushing and bathing does a Maltipoo need?
The Maltipoo’s coat can range from the silky texture of the Maltese to the distinctive frizz of the Poodle and can be many colors, including grey, black, white, and apricot. Most Maltipoos are a good match for allergy sufferers because they don’t shed much, but these pups require an owner with plenty of patience for grooming, as they need regular brushing and even professional care to keep their coats in good shape. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
Can a Maltipoo live in an apartment?
Maltipoos are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Because of their size and activity needs, Maltipoos are a great fit for families that live in apartments or smaller homes. They are fairly easy to train.
Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here
Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
