I have you fill out a form on my website that states which pick you are, as soon as that is filled out, it will automatically send you and myself a copy, after I get the copy, I have you place the deposit for the pick list. The form that gets sent to us both acts as your receipt and states what pick you are. When the puppies are born, I get in touch with you and send updated pics of the pups, when they are 5-6 weeks old, I start having families pick their pup in order of the pick list.
