Boston Terriers are the epitome of a family-friendly companion. They’re sweet, playful pups that can adapt to any lifestyle and get along with everyone they meet. These dogs don’t need much maintenance—just a whole lot of love and affection. Full-grown, they typically weigh 12-25 pounds and stand 15-17 inches tall.

Boston Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Boston Terriers are energetic, friendly, and gentle dogs that are wonderful around adults and children of all ages. They don’t have a strong prey drive, so they get along well with other pets and small animals too. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.

The Boston Terrier has moderate exercise needs. All they need is a good, long walk or playtime in a fenced yard each day to stay happy and in shape. These pups also do well at sports, like flyball, agility, and rally. Overall, their exercise needs are moderate.

The Boston Terrier's coat is short and fine. It usually comes in black, brindle, seal, or a combination of the three. They have white fur on the chest, muzzle, neck, legs, and blaze area. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.

Boston Terriers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. The Boston Terrier’s size and disposition make them a good fit for apartments, homes, and just about any setting imaginable. They are fairly easy to train.

This mostly hairless breed and it’s powderpuff siblings are great for people with allergies as both varieties are hypoallergenic. Their broad head, large perky ears, and long muzzle give the Chinese Crested a distinct look to go along with their ultra-extroverted and fun-loving personality. Full-grown, they typically weigh 8-12 pounds and stand 11-13 inches tall.

Chinese Cresteds are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. The Chinese Crested gets along well with children who respect their pup's personal space, other dogs, and any household pets. Young children should be watched around the Hairless Chinese Crested as they lack the naturally protective coat most breeds have to protect them from rough play. They're moderate barkers — they'll alert you when something's up but aren't excessive.

Chinese Crested exercise and activity needs are rather minimal. They prefer a daily walk, but can usually have their needs met by indoor play. The Chinese Crested is well-suited for apartment life. Overall, their exercise needs are low.

There are two distinct varieties of Chinese Crested—the ‘Hairless’ Chinese Crested and the more common ‘Powder Puff’ Chinese Crested. The Hairless Chinese Crested has soft, human-like skin and tufts of fur on their head and ears, tail tip, feet, and other sporadic places on their bodies. The Powerpuff variety has a thick double coat with a very soft, silky topcoat. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance. Chinese Cresteds are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
