About Zoe

Zoe is a puppy of mine from several years back who found her home when she was just a baby but unfortunately it no longer suits her needs. She is an independent little girl who recently started making it clear that she would prefer to be an only pup in a quiet household rather than the busy and four-legged sibling filled one she currently has. Her human parents aren’t the type to give up easily on one of their furry children so it was with heavy hearts and on the advice of dog behavioral specialist that they contacted me asking for help finding a more ideal home for her. Zoe loves being close to her humans and sits on a highchair next to her mom while she works on the computer. She doesn’t like to sit on laps unless it’s on her terms, preferring instead just to hang out close by. Based on her recent behavior, she would also prefer to be the only dog in the house — Princessville: population 1 Zoe is spayed and up to date on her shots including rabies. The entirety of her adoption fee will be paid in the form of a donation to an animal based charity. Please feel free to suggest your own favorite cause or make it directly via Venmo to our vet’s angel fund. Adult Size: Toy Weight: 6-7lbs ____________________________ Natalie - ___________________________ Best Friends Kennels is a family business where our animals are valued members of both the family and the team. Our puppies are raised out of our shared home, and I (Natalie) do live introductions to them via facetime or other forms video chat from our living room. Each puppy leaves for their forever home to start the next chapter of their lives not just with love, but also with up-to-date shots and parasite prevention treatments. They are also covered by our Two-Year Health Guarantee, as outlined on the website. Veterinary checks for further peace of mind are available prior to adoption on request. We love our puppies for life and are happy to help them and their new parents any way we can so we offer Lifetime Phone Support as well. Feel free to do your homework and learn more about us at our website or just google the name to find reviews. Raising happy and healthy puppies alongside our happy and healthy dog family/coworkers is what we do. We love what we do, and we are very honored by what our adoptive families have to say about us. https://www.BestFriendsKennels.com

Frequently Asked Questions
About Yorkshire Terrier Puppies

How would you describe a Yorkshire Terrier?
The little Yorkshire Terrier thinks they're Great Danes, and like most terriers, are bold, brave, and independent. They are very intelligent and  develop deep bonds with their owners. Full-grown, they typically weigh 4-7 pounds and stand 8-9 inches tall.
Do Yorkshire Terriers do well in a busy household?
Yorkshire Terriers are generally excellent with children of all ages. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They're fairly vocal dogs that bark regularly.
How do I keep a Yorkshire Terrier physically active?
The Yorkshire Terrier can have most of their exercise needs met through indoor play, but they prefer a daily walk or romp in a fenced-in yard. They don't need much exercise, so don't wear your Yorkie out too much, but they will need to play with their families throughout the day. Overall, their exercise needs are high.
Do Yorkshire Terriers shed a lot?
Yorkies' coats can be a bit high maintenance, especially for those with the long, silky coat. Long coats require professional maintenance, including adding oil and wrapping the coats in rice or tissue paper, along with weekly washings. The Yorkshire Terrier has no undercoat, and they do shed a small amount. Grooming-wise, this breed is high-maintenance. Yorkshire Terriers are considered hypoallergenic, which can be a plus for allergy sufferers.
Can a Yorkshire Terrier live in an apartment?
Yorkshire Terriers are best suited for apartments and smaller homes. Because of their diminutive stature, Yorkies are well-suited to apartment life, but households with young children are not recommended unless carefully supervised. They are fairly easy to train.

Puppy Buyer's FAQ
See Full Guide Here

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
