Cavapoos are loved for combining the sweet, affectionate nature of the Cavalier with the intelligence and low-shedding coat commonly associated with the Poodle. While coat type can vary from puppy to puppy, Cavapoos are generally considered low-shedding and require regular brushing and professional grooming to keep their coats healthy and looking their best.

What should I expect with Cavapoo shedding?
Cavapoos are known for their soft, Poodle-like coat, though a few have the Cavalier’s longer, silkier, wavy coat. The Cavapoo’s shedding will depend on their genes, as those with Cavalier fur will shed more, while those with a Poodle coat will hardly shed at all. Grooming-wise, this breed is moderate.
