About Brandy

Brandy is a sweet, playful little girl with a confident personality and a spark of independence. She enjoys being part of whatever is going on and is usually one of the first puppies to come say hello when someone walks into the pen. She has a wonderful balance of curiosity and confidence. While she may pause for just a moment to see what's happening, she's quick to jump into the fun with her littermates. Brandy has a medium-to-higher energy level, loves to play, and has just enough of a bossy streak to keep her brothers and sisters on their toes. Raised on our family horse farm with her littermates and parents, Brandy has enjoyed lots of daily handling, playtime, and interaction. She would thrive with an active family that understands the Australian Cattle Dog breed and is looking for a loyal companion to include in everyday adventures. One of Brandy's most striking features is her beautiful red coloring. Her face is a little darker than her look-alike sister's, and she's beginning to develop dark points around her eyes that resemble her mom's natural "eyeliner," giving her a unique and expressive look. Whether you're looking for a hiking partner, a farm helper, or an active family companion, Brandy has the personality and heart to become a wonderful lifelong friend. ✅ Vet-checked ✅ First puppy shot given ✅ Dewormed 3x ✅ Farm-raised, handled daily 🐶 Parents on-site — loyal, hardworking cattle dogs with great temperaments Heelers are best suited for active homes, farms, or families familiar with the breed’s working nature. Frequently Asked Questions
About Australian Cattle Dog Puppies

What makes Australian Cattle Dogs special?
With a long lineage of cattle herding ancestors, the Australian Cattle Dog, also called Blue or Red Heeler or Queensland Heeler, is known as a tireless, loyal breed that loves having something to do. They need mental and physical stimulation to stay out of trouble, but if you can keep them entertained, they’ll be wonderful companions. Full-grown, they typically weigh 35-50 pounds and stand 17-20 inches tall.
How do Australian Cattle Dogs behave around young children?
Australian Cattle Dogs are generally okay with older children who know how to handle dogs. Australian Cattle Dogs make ideal companions for children and other dogs if they’re socialized at a young age and treated with respect. Their herding instinct may cause them to nip at running kids, so training is important to teach them good behavior. They're relatively quiet and don't bark much.
How do I keep a Australian Cattle Dog physically active?
Australian Cattle Dogs have loads of energy and need lots of mental and physical stimulation. Otherwise, they're likely to get into trouble. Their herding roots make them great companions for running, biking, and other outdoor activities. Overall, their exercise needs are very high.
How much brushing and bathing does a Australian Cattle Dog need?
The Australian Cattle Dog’s outer coat is weather resistant, short, and a bit rough. The inner layer is short and thick. They are born with a white coat, but it darkens over time to become red-speckled or blue/blue mottled, and they often have markings as well. Grooming-wise, this breed is low-maintenance.
Can a Australian Cattle Dog live in an apartment?
Australian Cattle Dogs are best suited for a rural property or home with a large yard. Australian Cattle Dogs are wary of strangers, so they may not be the best fit for homes with constant visitors. They’re an indoor/outdoor breed that needs the space of a home rather than the tight confinement of apartment. They are fairly easy to train.

See Full Guide Here

Visit or Video Call the Breeder
Visit in person if possible, or request a live video call to meet the puppy, see its living conditions, and meet the mom. Ask to see where the dogs eat, sleep, and play.
Get a Vet Exam Immediately
Have a vet examine the puppy within two days of bringing it home, even if it seems healthy.
Request Complete Health Records
Ask for vaccination records, deworming history, and vet exam results. For purebreds, ask for parent health clearances.
Get Everything in Writing
Written contract with health guarantees, return/refund policy, and spay/neuter terms. Verbal promises are unenforceable.
Use Secure Payment Methods
Pay with a credit card or another traceable method that offers buyer protection. Avoid wire transfers, crypto, or gift cards, which are difficult to recover.
Verify Breeder Credentials
Check USDA license, state breeder license, breed club memberships, and reviews. Ask for buyer references.
Know What to Look For
A trustworthy breeder welcomes visits, specializes in one or two breeds, prices fairly, and gives you time to decide without pressure.
Know Your State's Laws
Some states have lemon laws; others rely on contract law. Know your rights before you buy.
